I was in the shop today ha ha .And seller opened the 6300 ,and under the battery said "made in hungary"...Seller ask me "Why is that importnat to you " LOL -He doesent even know the problems of China 6300.
I will buy 6300 Nokia as soon as i get more money :) Nokia rulz.
to ORIGINAL JAMAICAN: On the subject of the nokia's 6300 16.7million screen no other phone on the market can MATCH it at the moment its just unbelivable, i know someone who has the samsung G600 which also has a 16.7million screen n comparing my 6300 to that my mate said 'oh my god the screen on ur nokia is outstanding it makes mine look dull to yours' and i agree in the sun the
6300 is by far the most READABLE
in all the time that i have had my phone, which is now 2 months, not ONCE has it overheated, not when the phone has been on charge or when i have made a call. must b a small majority of people that suffer from overheating phones
i am greatly impressed by the size, style of nokia 6300 but the only problem i heard from the user is that the problem related with its talk time.now i am thinking before purchaning this phone
Some people complain about phone getting hot during conversation, the battery area as well as the earpiece speaker causing owners to alternate between ears. This DOESN'T happen to my 6300 and I'm SURE it DOESN'T happen to WAZOMBA's 6300 either.
nokia 6300 is good featured mobile, but i think it works at very low frquency that make your ear worm during conversation.
1700mAh battery contemplator, original Nokia battery for 6300 is NOT 720mAh, it's 860mAh, check the specs.
Even the old 6100 which uses the same battery is more than 720mAh, it's 760mAh.
Well, I just remember that the 6100 battery is compatible with the 6300 but my friend you still have to be careful.
If you really want it I suppose you could buy it and then take it to your nearest Nokia repair centre and ask a technician to test it to see if it's safe to use in your phone. Once it's confirmed as being safe then you are good to go.
My friend, it says up to 1500mAh and it was designed for the 6100.
I don't understand the language either, is it German. If you do understand the language, could you please translate what the seller is saying.
Unauthorised batteries have known to explode while using the phone which WILL cause serious injuries. Just imagine having the phone at your ear when it explodes!
To the PERSON who is contemplating about getting the battery from e-bay. A 1700mAh battery sounds really good for any phone BUT Nokia has NOT listed that as an enhancement on it's site for the 6300 so you are putting yourself of risk buying an alien battery for your phone.
Send me the e-bay link let me check it out.
Another reason why the 6300 screen easily outclasses every other is the fact that EVER since I saw the 6300's unbelievable screen, EVERY OTHER screen I looked at since looks PALE and DULL. NUFF SAID.
Another quote from GSMArena's official review:
"Superb image and visualization quality"
All the official reviews seem to feel the same way about the screen as I do, "Superb, Excellent, Magnificent, Spectacular, Splendid"
Many have said you have to see the screen to believe it.
Even CNET, the hardest reviewing company gave it an 'excellent' rating.
One official reviewer said that Nokia cannot be commended enough for this highly high-end excellent screen and gave the screen 5 out of 5.
Even GSMArena's own official reviewer who reviewed it gave it 5 stars saying that it's an enchanting display
QUOTE from GSMArena's Official review:
Nokia has equipped the 6300 model with a truly spectacular TFT display capable of visualizing the incredible 16.7 millions of colors. It offers a QVGA resolution of 240 x 320 pixels on a surface of 31 x 41 mm, which results in superbly fine images; individual pixels are not visible to the human eye. Add especially deep and true colors and high-quality backlighting and you will manage to imagine what satisfactory experience any look at the display is. Pictures look gorgeous. The display is perfectly legible under direct sunlight."
There will ALWAYS be haters out there especially when a company is doing too well. All you haters keep your hatred in your own forums.
I found a battery on ebay, which has 1700mAH, original Nokia battery is 720mAH. They say u can use it also on nokia 6300.
What do you think guys, shoud I buy this battery, because Nokia says it is dangerous to use any other battery than Nokias. Is this true, or is this only protection of their own market.
On the other hand, it would boost the phones performance and I would be able to use the features like internet, mp3 more frequently.
So what do you think on this one?
Thanks for answering and any suggestions.
Some people talk crap at times.
Samsung has very good displays I know that BUT it CANNOT be compared to Nokia 6300's display. If you have a Hungarian 6300 and compare it to any Samsung or Sony Ericsson's display you will see the Nokia wins hands down.
I have seen the Samsung D500 and D600 displays and they are INFERIOR to Nokia's 16.7 million colours.
Even when Nokia had 65k colours with a 128x128 screen (for example, Nokia 6230) I always preferred the Nokia's screen compared to similarly configured Sony Ericsson (for example K700). When I compared photos of people between the 6230 and Sony Ericsson the 6230 skin tone looked smoother. The K700's skin tone looked unreal, so detailed it almost looked fake, like an animated picture.
Samsung recently presented it's first 16.7M screen...it has the same resolution as the 6300 (240x320) and it's a bit bigger at 2.2 inches. Nokia has already won this screen battle right here. Figure it out without me spelling it out.
Forum after forum people HIGHLY COMMEND the 6300's screen as being the best and nothing is clearer. As somebody said, "the Nokia 6300's screen is crystal clear, it cannot be beat".
I totally agree with that person!
those who come from phones which are big as bricks and didnt even had bluetooth certainly will think this phone is the best, for them its an upgrade but upgrade doesnt mean its the best.
next year when they will take a new contract, they will see whats more on the horizon, SE has 256k colours but its equal to nokias 16 mln colours, I dont see no difference, honoustly, SE and Samsung always had better displays.
wait till SE or Samsung releases 16 mln colurscreen, then you will notice, the 6300 is very very average in my opinion.
only pro: the size and steel cover
