Just load pc suit in your computer then active GPRS with your service provider. click internet explorer which is in pc suit menu. it will take few minutes to connect. then double click on internet explorer in computer desktop. and browes.so easy. Make sure your gprs is unlimited otherwise the meter will go somewhere.
I have had this Nokia 6300 for over 3 yrs now and I can vouch that all along I had hassle free service. It's worth the money I spent for this phone. Presently I have a Sony Ericsson Satio viz a fantastic phone but because of its girth and weight and the low battery life, I am thinking of going back to my old Nokia 6300 mobile.
I can not access GPRS setting in nokia 6300. plese help me.
I have a nice experiance with tha nokia 6300 but the some trouble with usb data cable with pc that only the problem, internet software is exalent
its pretty a nice fone anyway, though i just received it from ma sister..
it browses wella if right configured, but the issue here is, can it play 3D games and can it afford to do a video call and all that??
aaron, as for your happiness with your unit, dont destroy your loyalty in buyng 5800, psl google about its hardware issues, HARDWARE NOT EVEN JUST SOFTWARE, meaning defect in the inside, ok, considering 5800, they have very many issues, they just turn off and suddenly stop responding, how about 5530, its just like 5800 without gps and 3g, even better :D
hope i helped :D
I have had my 6300 for almost three years (August 2007) and I have a very nice experience for the money I paid for it (which is, obivously, much lower than in 2007). All feature work perfectly, I especially appreciated the blue lights on the side which told you that "you've got mail" or that I missed a call. It helped when I was asleep at night and did not have the energy (or the clear headedness) to check the phone physically.
To this end, I have a question: I am ready to upgrade and am considering the 5800. What are your opinions on this transition? I am seeing mixed reviews about the 5800 but I would like some opinions wrt the 6300.

Iam getting the error "Memory storage not ready" when i try to send SMS from the message settings menu. But when i load the SIM card onto another ohone, iam able to send SMS
Nice Phone! but its camera is not good, Nokia 3120c is much much more better.
When you repair this phone (the phone is opned) the "reset to factory" security code is not anymore "12345" and i don't know any other code for it. i think we should update or reinstall is software.
Anonymous, 16 May 2010Help please!! im using this phone for 2 years now. Smart says it has already activated its mms... moreSmart activated the services for your SIM, but you still need to configure your phone to use those services. Google it, find the settings and then try to configure your phone. Or try to request automatic settings from Smart again.
And forget 3G, 6300 is not a 3G unit.
