the design is good, but the quality of the materials and assembly, horrible
the plug from the charger dances all around, i`m speaking of the piece of plastic, where you insert the chargers jack
the volume bars are moving in any possible direction, up and down, forward backward, left and right, because they are much smaller then the cavity around them
the reception is 4 of 10 at best, in some areas of my city, you can get a much better reception, with 5 year old low end nokia
battery lasts 3 days with an average 15 min/day talk-time
lines appear on the screen while making a phone call, just like on TV set when a mobile phone is next to it
the quality of the music is good, but that`s because the battery cover is from metal and creates resonance
in the end
design:8 out of 10
features:7 out of 10
performance:4 out of 10
if you care about the price, i`d recommend a 3110/3109
from everyones opinion one thing is clear i.e battery life.Is the battery is very poor?

Guys, one of the factor in your problem is, where did you buy your cp???Me, i buy the unit in nokia outlet or Hello...since you invest, its better to buy to a real supplier, althought its a little expensive or high, at least you can get a guarantee...and its must be NTC authorized, its a big deal...Most of my collegue are using Nokia6300, actually they are the one influence me...
I read the opinions here before I bought the Nokia6300. I took the risk, and gladly say that I never experience it as of the now...I use the media player, listening to my 23 Gregorian songs (a minimun of 7mins/song),texting and call, so far it take 2 days for me...And for text and call it took 3 days before it last...as a technical person, I advice the user to hae an initial charge of 6 to 7 hrs, then wait for your cp to drain in before you charge (3 executive)...
The phone is good but I echo my colleagues words that it battery life span is the worst I have ever seen. I guess thats one of the reasons why it was withdrawn from the shelves. What happens to those of us who already purchased it and we are feeling the pinch? I love Nokia phones and had invested in 6300. What do I do?
