i like the phone but it has a lot of unremovalbe bloatware games, the pre-installed QR code reader does not work ( i think), Kai OS has quite a lot of glitches and bugs and it is a bit slow sometimes. Camera is only somewhat usable

Purchased Nokia 6300 4g and 12-month plan both from MintMobile. So far, cannot set-up phone. Finally, have been told it is not compatible with MintMobile by a MintMobile agent after three phone calls, although I purchased both phone and prepaid plan from MintMobile. I also verified phone compatibility via MintMobile website, just to double check before purchase. Can anyone explain this? Agent was pleasantly contrite and is sending me a return label for phone. The plan is on hold as I think it is a good plan for me. Any suggestions on an inexpensive, dumb phone would be appreciated. I will ONLY use phone for emergencies and convenience. Probably no more than a dozen times a year. Thanks to anyone who takes pity and shares thoughts.

I gave up my IPhone 11 and switched to the Nokia 3600 4G to detach myself from the smartphone world. This phone has GPS so I don’t get lost, and yes it works. This phone has google assistant but is not compatible so that’s a bummer. Predictive text does help the texting process when you’re not used to t9 texting. I haven’t lost any signal or lost any calls with this phone (T-Mobile and AT-T service). Honestly, the call quality matches my iPhone 11, just not the speaker phone. The load time on the internet is a bit slow, but still works.
All in all, if you’re comparing this to a smartphone, you’re looking a poor phone. But, if you’re looking at this phone with basic phone qualifications, I’d say this phone is a pretty good deal for what it’s worth. I haven’t found a flaw with this phone and it’s been reliable while I’ve had it. I bought the white Nokia and my husband bought the Black version. We both enjoy ours very much (we’re both 25 of age).

This is the most useless phone I have ever used, hangs all the time, buttons don't function properly, poor battery life, everything on what a phone shouldn't be, is highly associated with this garbage of a pbone

This phone speaks evils only to the spoiled man who needs someone else's help to go urinate in the restroom. You speak of luxuries that screams necessities, and my soul yearns of needs that readily decries living a life that isn't simple. Like really, what on earth would I need a 1,200 contact list on my phone?

Don't waste your mony for this phone and it feauturs. battery life is so damn short even with normal use. so you cannot enjoy hotspot or whatsapp

The phone has problem in hotspot,,, but i couldn’t find any solution after that i have connect it a power bank and hotspot doesn’t disconnect automatically.. You can also connect a charger..to solve the problem...thank you..

Never buy a phone based on online reviews. I had to learn this the hard way.
Issues with the Nokia 6300 4G
1) Lags like anything and extremely buggy
2) Prediction text shuts off abruptly in the middle of your text messages
3) Comes with pre-installed trialware games and apps (that do not work, such as, "News") you cannot uninstall
4) Comes with bloatware
5) Battery drains pretty quick on Wifi, WhatsApp and Youtube
6) Some alphabets are missing in other foreign languages when you want to text
7) On some 6300 4G phones, you cannot update the software version after 10.00.17.01, while others report successfully updating to version 12.xx.xx.xx.xx
8) No call recorder
9) A 1,200 contact list takes 7-10 seconds to load
10) The only solution Nokia will give you is a reset, which only speeds up the phone by 0.01%
11) Removing the sd card may speed up this phone, but not a permanent solution
