is there a way to stop the power saving clock disapear after aprox 1 minute? i am talking about the clock that is displayed on screen when the phone is in standby, it should display missed calls/messages, but it disapears after a minute or so. on 6303 there was a power saving option to control this, but on 6303i, it seems there isn't one...
I purchased this model in June 2010 on the recomendation of the dealer and is giving satisfactory service. However sometimes the out going signal is very week and the other party complains of impaired hearing, whereas this problem is noticed with the other Nokia model. Can it be rectified?
Extremely nice and balanced phone. Everything man can ever need to make calls. Moreover -- IT IS ___NOT___ MADE IN CHINA!

unborn, 21 Sep 2011Did you face any problem with your Nokia 6303 classic?Yes, after 5 months of using it, my phone shuts down. It hangs sometime. The main problem of this phone is the in-call sound and ring volume. The sound is too soft and low.
unborn, 20 Sep 2011I think the "i" version is cheaper than its original version , am I right? The "i" version is more expensive than the classic. But maybe it depends on the mobile store's price.
[deleted post]I'm not sure if this phone is still available, but try Viacom at SM Baguio, the mobile store where I bought my nokia 6303. Most shops sells it for 5,900+ - 6,200+ php, but they sell it for 5,800.php only, but they have poor service upon claiming your phones warranty. Try HELLO Mobile store, opposite o Viacom. Mountain studio and G2 telecom at centermall sells phone at reasonable price. Some of my friends told me that Tiongsan Harrison has the cheapest mobile price, but without warranty. Another tip in buying nokia phone, just press *#92702689# and the serial code, manufacturing date, mobile version, etc. pops up. This code assures you that you are buying an original nokia handset.
baguio_boy, 19 Sep 2011What makes the black version better than the other? What about the price in Highland or Janno ... moreI saw the gold version of this phone, it looks like a retro or if this phone is a car. Its an old fashioned car, same with the silver version. While the silver with black around the screen and navi keys looks like the nokia 6300 in a candy bar shape. In my opinion, the black version is timeless when it comes to style and looks, but its a matter of choice, if what color version suits your taste. By the way, I dont know the price of this phone at jano bindaen's mobile shop. I dont recomend Highland cause there phones were a little bit expensive compared to other mobile store. This phone is excellent for texting, but the only problem of this phone is the in-call sound, too low that you need to use the headphone. The ring volume also is too soft and low, even the ring volume is set to maximum.
