It has a good software and light blue backlight.... moreHey Dude if you are facing a Problem of the phone shutting down when knocked hard then there is a very good solution for that....Try to put a Sim Card Size hard Cardboard above the SIM (the place where it says Made in Finland/Germany) and close the battery...Your phone is ready to rock....Now try knocking the phone....it will never shut down....God Bless...

AMB, 15 Jul 2010Dude u mean you bought it on 13th July 2010 where did u buy it from as am looking for it for ... moreHey AMB you still get Nokia 6310i's in the Market...I bought 6 pieces last month from my friend whos in UK...The only difference is that all these phones are refurbished.(i.e. its already been used and then reproduced into a new one)....And Dude all the phones work the same...2 weeks of Battery life et all.....

This is the best phone ever IMHO.
I'm still using it, no problems what so ever with it, except battery is starting to die, lasts about week now. Originally Li-Polymer battery lasted 2 weeks.

This phone has been so good that I am looking for its upgrade now that I'm thinking of getting a new phone.I've had for about five years now with little problems except for the alarm which takes a break from work every now and then.

dknyc, 12 Jul 2010I have this model beginning 2003. Yes, it sometimes switches off but this doesn't really bothe... moreI still have it guys from 2004 and i'm using it until now. My respect to Nokia for this model.....my freinds who has the new E-66 are suffering from no signal and mine ,,,never been dissconnected ever.
