I have used it for over a year before switching on to another peice. but i must say i never found any phone as sleek and gorgeous as 6310I.
i will join the wagon asking NOKIA to please please re introduce this phone again.

Joe, 04 Nov 2009Yes those are great features but I guarantee you that smartphone of yours is getting charged a... morelol, you are not serious are you? The 6310i is an iconic legend, one of the best , if not, the best all eound smartphone of it's time for Business Consumers this side of Blackberry don't get me wrong. But in terms of User Interface layout this is in no way more simplified or usable than the HTC HD2/Nokia n900 or Motorola Droid. The icon based one line screen looks awfully small and dated now, tell me, how many people still use the 6310i now? Yes, the battery may be better but that's down to it's lack of up to date features which today's machines fulfil for the ever changing and more demanding consumer, ala wifi/bluetooth tethering/file transferring and being able to share pics and videos without the need for wires. I'm not saying the 6310i sucks, FAR from it, it is a legend and is the inspiration of today's generation of smartphones. However, it has been dethroned as king much like the Iphone has and people have to accept that times change.

The 6310i easily lasts a week and has a much more user friendly layout.

Unfortunately 98% of us have moved on since the 6310i and actually like using our open source Android Smartphones/IPhones/Web OS Palm Pre/N900's and HD2's with the office/laptop and entertainment in the phone, this was the hit device in late 2001/early 2002 along with the Siemens SL45i and Sony Ercisson T68. However, today, they pale in significant comparison to today's super smartphones. All that being said, this is a true legend!

Just dug this out from my attic, near-mint condition. It'll be perfect for my crazy-lifestyle 16-year old who keeps breaking newer and lighter phones.

best phone ever. had so many color phones with gps, wi-fi and all that stuff but this phone overtakes them all. i have a bad memory and when i want to remember i record and put it to play at the time i want to. the battery lasts enough to forget that i have to charge it. excuse my english.cheers !

i am using the same model phones of nokia where i started with 6210 the infrared mobile and then moved to the higher one such as 6310i black and golden and then the silver one.
one of the best mobile produced by Nokia corp in the universe becoz for the following reasons.
long battery life
the size of the phone where the mic will exactly touch your mouth which reduce the disturbance of voice
very less function but every function is the most important.
the main feature is that when this phone is drop on the ground the battery will open reducing the weight on the cellphone which will ensure you the least damage.
Currently i have 6210 (YEAR 2000) and the battery life is still 1.5 days
i would like to see this piece again in the market.

Best phone ever made by Nokia !!!!Have not changed the battery since 2002.......still as it was when brand new.
