This is my dream phone, i am just searching that if can get an opportunity to buy this model.
Its really good one, i dont know why Nokia discontinue this model ?
This nokia 6310i is the phone for all seasons. I have been using mine since 2003. It has fallen into the tub, and surprisingly after drying up, it works again! It has fallen on cement floors many times, and it still works. It looks sexy and is just the right size; not like those teeny weenie newer phones. If Nokia is samrt enough to con tinue to sell this phone, I am sure there will be many buyers.Just increase the memory, and put a camera and enhance its email capability. Thats all that is needed to make this super phone a phone to keep for a lifetime---well I guess Nokia does not like this cuz they wont have repeat business? So they kill a good product and come out with lots of crap to the delight of its competitors.
Same feautures that Vertu Signature and Ascent has. Exactly same.
My 6310i was one my most favorite phones, with battery life of 7 days standby/3 days talk time. Calendar, infa-red & blue tooth. Only thing it doesn't have is a colour screen or a camera. Id probably be still using it today if i hadn't lost it.
Hi I'm using a 6310i for a long time , I should say its simply rocks , its the Papa of all phones . Love this phone a lot and more happy to know that there are lotta 6310i fans out there . I also suggest Nokia should bring back this phone again ....
The best in the world
This is world's best phone. No one can beat him.
I-phone is nothing front of it.
mantsm, 23 May 2008is it possible to get new batteries for this phone? but normal ones, because all I have seen, ... morethe best phone i have ever seen in my life .kindly let me know how can i get one more for me
I've had a Nokia 6310i for about 4-years. My friend from Germany gave it to me. I love it. One year ago, I had to replace the battery as the original one refused to accept a charge rendering it useless. I was able to puchase a replacement battery on line for a decent price and have continued to use it ever since. I will swap between my Nokia 6100 and this model as I like them both. Great call quality (most people do not believe that I am on a cell phone when I am talking to them) and, reception is very good. The phone is physically larger than most of my other phones so a pouch to strap it on to your belt is a worthy investment. Not bad in a jacket pocket buy a bit too large to simply stick in your pants pocket every day.
One more thing. as an addition to a previous post I wrote. I ask all of you at this gsmarena site: can we organize to find a true successor of the 6310i? A true one. Is it possible to define a recent Nokia phone device to replace the 6310i? I hope we, together, can post pros and cons, arguments and the question that will be a fun to explore too. Is it an E51? A hint more? It could be the E55, announced at MWC in Barcelona? Let the games begin. A true 6310i successor is ?
I always love to read gsmarena posts. Specially to see "the clash of the Titans", the owners of the legendary 6310i. I have never wrote a post before but I was inspired last night at the coffe with my friend. With this phone in my hands even got a bet. If I succeed to get and send an e-mail, I will have a coffee. Guess what? We all know the answer :). This phone has come to the point where it enters the myth domain. Such a fun to see the posts, being sent in march 2k9 and the legend was discontinued 5 years ago. Yes, yes, 5 (five) years ago. Even the competition and the owners of different other phone brands respect this connecting device. It is not important if the new phones are better or worse, the point is that we love this phone and the fame it has is fascinating. Thank you, all of you who still have somthing to say about this phone. Thanks to all of the competition and the opponents, the battle is better if we all take part in it. (this speach started to remind me of the Oscar annual award :):). 6310i surely deserves a one. Nokia, thank you too. :)

I wouldn't even compare this to the E90 or N95, but it was the N95 of it's day. I still see businessmen using this phone or the 6230i, proves that Nokias are built to last alongsie Blackberrys. You don't see professionals using the IPhone 3G!
mark, 11 May 2002From what I have seen this phones is not all that. What's the big difference between this and ... more6310i the best phone ever made!! the funy thing,:):) that it still is as a phone, not some over complicated, sensible, nowdays made crap wich once dropt stops workin` SAD:( they just not able to bit this phone
Actually I refrain my statement, I've actually managed to have a go with this phone from a friend of mine today and whoa, the interface and usability is superior to today's confusing smart phone computers. OK, it lacks the MP3 and Camera, but the feel and quality is better than the 5800 Tube and it's just so easy to use. This is a true classic and just love the blue monochrome screen, still looks classy.
chris, 05 Feb 2009Dude ...ur my brother I am a fan of this fone and i m absolutely tired wid my e90 ,these day... moreHa! Are you having an absolute laugh there, bro? The old days better than the current days?? I think not for a number of reasons. I'm one of the many who are glad to see the back of obsolete ancient antiques such as the 6310i and the 3310/30 models, yes they were user friendly and yes, they did the basics better than any other phone to this date even but err.....i'll think i'll stick with present superior technology thank you very much like 98% of the developed world. No offense to you or anything, you probably treasure antiques and maybe new phones are soulless to you. It's like an old classic car vs new computer car, majority will always call the old model a classic with plenty of character and the new a soulless machine.
