Ya'll shud try to update the firmware if u aignt happy with the way its performing, mines not bad at all! Wish the vibration was a lot more than wat it is now though!
Having read some opinions regarding the loudspeaker I feel that some clarification is in order. The loudspeaker, with which you listen to music, is VERY good just as when you use the loudspeaker option during a call. BUT the loudspeaker is HORRIBLY BAD when you use the phone in the normal way without the loudspeaker option. Compared to my old phone (a SE) the difference is like night and day.
sick fone
The 6500 Classic is an attractive feature phone. However anyone who is considering buying this sim free should seriously consider the Nokia E51. Equally well built, it is more advanced technologically, with the excellent Symbian S60 smartphone OS, HSDPA for ultra fast web access, and wi-fi. And it costs less!
Don't get this phone. After 6 months it doesn't work anymore. It couldn't receive a call and a text message. It happened to a friend also. I went to Nokia to let it fixed, no avail.
My KRZR K3 has good music quality like my SE W200
apple macs are for mongs as well as the ihpone over priced and styled trash pc rules

Dude, 28 Jun 2008Reply to Sam... As for that... I cannot answer because I only owned Nokia the first time whic... morenokia never competes with Sony ericsson in sound. i don think none of foolish nokia product is giving quality of Walkman series
Btw, a lot of dropped calls during conversations when driving home(I do not encounter the same problem with my Motorola nor SE)taking the same route & using the same service provider.
One of the worst phone I ever use:-
- Start to get extremely hot during conversations for over 10 minutes.
- Continues talk time of no more than one hour.
- Keypad difficult & un-comfortable to type message.
- No "called record" detail(same like my 8800 Arte).
Don't buy this piece of rubbish....even my 8800 Arte sucks!!!
Nokia do not make good phones any more, they just know how to make money from suckers!
i got this phone and love it, the only thing that bother me is while messaging the small shortcut tag which appears on the bottom of the screen , just wondering if some on can help me removing that tag ...
android, 01 Aug 2008I hate this phone with a passion! I've sat on mine and it's now become a clam-shell virtually!... moreDude..
Check the system requirements for the PC Suite software before you buy a phone. It's not anyone's fault but you're own if you're unable to see if it meets your requirements.
Anonymous, 28 Jul 2008series 40???What?
I hate this phone with a passion! I've sat on mine and it's now become a clam-shell virtually! Given that, in its favour it does still work, but the voice quality for the person you are phoning is terrible and always has been. The first one I had kept freezing and the screen kept going weird on me so vodafone replaced it, but the battery life is terrible, and for some reason all the features that you've grown to know and love on Nokias over the years seem to have been removed from this one... You can no longer just flick down to a telephone number in someone's text to you. You have to go through a boring process to extract the number. It seems to be the only phone that doesn't work with iSync on a mac computer as well. So unless you're PC don't even contemplate trying to swap your numbers over with ease. My last phone, the N73 couldn't have been easier to transfer the number between my old phone and that. The 6500 however is ridiculously complicated unless you use the Data Suite programme (which doesn't run on mac computers.....). Once I can get out of this vodafone contract I'm jumping networks to get an iPhone I'm afraid.....
series 40???
