man i am so sorry i went for the nokia 6300, the 6500 classic must be the best device around, it garantees you to make and receive calls pretty much over the whole world.
dont give a damn about features, but very very important are, excellent reception, batterylife and at least quadband and also matures stylish look.
take SE for example, hate the childish looks of it, thats why all my nephews walk around with SE's.
my post was supposed to be sarcastic...
i understand its doesn't have all those specs, but i was pointing out how people moan about phones and what features they dont have.
do you understand now?
I think the phone looks great. and i'm more than happy with the features. not something i would buy, but i can see it selling well.
"I really wanted to get this phone but... Why the hell did Nokia not a card slot to that thing. I mean everything in that price comes with a card slot nowadays..."
no 5mpx cam either,
or video calls,
or touch screen,
and it wont take a 10gig mem card,
all you people do is moan....
not everyone wants a mem card slot, they will be more than happy with the onboard mem, which they can BT to their pcs, other phones, or use the USB cable etc.
What is Nokia doing???.....this is a much newer offering as compared to the Sony Ericsson W880, but the specification, features, performance are all inferior!!!
Just got an email from Nokia Team - Philippines, linking me to the Philippine website with both Classic and Slide upfront. It should be ou in the market. I'm checking it out today.

just had a play with one of these at a tech preview at work - it's nice, nokia have really gone to lengths to emulate the look and feel of an ipod nano. this also feels like it's made of lead - it is SO heavy for such a tiny phone which is very reassuring, but the icons on the menu hardly take advantage of the screen. super slim candybar 3G phone which feels like it's aimed at the luxury end - this will sell LOADS, thats for certain
wooooooow very nice design!! it's elegant an it has everything! who need 11Mp in a phone? with 2Mp and a 16M display it's more than enough!
Hi, has anyone seen this phone in shops already and/or bought it? How is it?
It is available now in Asia, but it has the same technology like the 6300 and also the bad camera is the same...
It will be released by some operators (T-Mobile) at the very end of September. Others (Vodafone) will be releasing it the first week of October.
Despite this being a "special" phone in Nokia's portfolia, it is infact retailing for around £240 sim free, so expect to get this phone free on pretty good contracts very soon.
And whatever you do, do NOT pre-order it (on contract). The very few (cowboy) websites which are saying they currently have this phone "in stock" are basically buying into your desperation and will offer the worst, most rip-off contracts going for the sake of getting the phone "now", which is probably a dirty, big fat lie anyway, because the chances are they do not have the phone and will merely ship it to you the day after it is released. So don't be desperate, girlfriendless losers.
