when you receive a file it is really saved at the messages... anyway try opening the file and choos option and choose save... I dunno about mp3s though don't worry I'll keep you posted...

well i got this phone and i like it... anyway for those who wants their video recording time extended try finding the software called camcoder pro... as long as you have a enough memory it will record everything...

I like this phone actually, the keypad is so nice and convenient. Also, the big display i enjoy so much. But, there is some part I hate about this phone. After use for about 1 year, now it always restart without any reason. Even your battery still full it will restart suddenly. It really consume lot of my battery life. When just buy, the battery can hold for 2 days. Now only 1 day, maybe less.
Sometimes, the respond of the phone also very slow. When you choose one mnu, it will take seconds to get the menu.
And, this phone only able to display limited language character (not able to display chinese character). Looks like need to pay for the services to get more add on features.
That 3 points really make me feel annoy.
I would like to suggest people find other phones which more stable and convenient.

Ms.Anjali,if you want a simple phone buy the 700i,If you want a smart phone then buy the 6600.Nokia 6600 is more durable than se k700i.Nokia 6600 also has more features than se 700i,like extendable memory etc.Se K700 is delicate and gets easily damaged if not used properly.But nokia 6600 does not get easily damaged.I used both of them and 6600 is the best!

for those of u who just got this phone and keep on wondering on how to extend ur recording time... well... u cannot use the video recorder in the phone... u must download a software called camcoder... u can download it from this website...wap.z51.biz/wapz51v2/search.aspx..enjoy

jus bought this handset and it's so goooooood.i've been able to download mp3 players, games,softwares and a lot of other applications.but my only problem is how 2 use a n mp3 as a ringtone and also how to adjust the volume a bit loud.thanx

Mr.Johnny Bravo,for unlimited video recording you need to upgrade the software of your phone.For this you must go to any authorised nokia servicing centre and If your phone is still under warranty you can get it done for free of cost.2.For recording calls install "symbian ware callrecorder" available at "wapain.net".

This is the best phone I have ever owned. It is totally reliable and has the usual straight forward Nokia menu. Very reliable indeed and totally practical. This phone was my main phone for the past 12 months and I will not part with it. Particularly since I have just upgraded to a Moto V3i and will need to use the Nokia if I am going away for more than a day and a half. After 12 months, the phone still delivers almost 5 to 6 days without a charge.
This phone was one of the first with video capabilities and therefore it is not surprising that you cannot record more than 10 seconds. So not really practical with that regard. However, a phone that I have as yet to get bored with.

one more thing if someone can help me in this matter plz... when i tried so manay times to make a movie but i m not able to make more than 10 seconds i tried different settings like file save in phone memory then save in memory card but result is same. how can i make long movie with nokia 6600. i need any other software or there is any setting for nokia 6600 defult movie recorder that i need to change for making long movie more than 10 second.... and one more thing can i record phone calls or not ?
