i have played symbian os 7.0 more than 1 year i say it is true thats nokia 6600 can support certain type of mp3 as ringtone is true u all can get it in your own forum
and wma as ringotne is for sure

but i can say the m3 ringtone is very soft than oggplay ringtone try it out for yourself
i just hate nokia why he want to locked this 6600 mp3 ringtone feature need us found by ourself

Bah...Everyone says that if you load wmaplus you can set mp3 as ringtone.Wmaplus is just a software which can play media files.Setting mp3 as ringtone using this software is not possible.Stop giving fake advices to people.

Well, you can format it yourself provided you have the software. I would recommend Psiloc's Stools. I have been using my Nokia 6600 for nearly 2years and it has been problem free. I would recommmend you to upgrade to a 512mb memory card for better storage..

Hey guyz! I think this phone is great and i want to buy one really soon :) I Have one question though: can u "format" the Symbian OS? I mean if u have problems, such as a virus, can u replace the original Symbian? Plz someone answer! Thanks

vevik i am not sure i think u saved all the app on u memory car an tese app u hane mentioned is authorized nokia app. so got to nokia care an u will get u solution there. i think u are fom india.

i have nokia 6600... i deleted some files in my memoray card when i tried formating it. some softwares got deleted. now i canot access internet from my mobile without that software.. so from where i can load softwares...
the software includes software setting wizard, PTT, worldmate , photo express, kodak print application,. unlead video studio etc... Help on this

errr.. go to funmaza.com u will find mobile radio. no way 6600 support fm radio it can connect only through gprs. go to mobilesmania.com u will fin the softwre called wmaplus by which u can set mp3 as ringtone

Hi guys what software should i download to set mp3 as ringtone.Also how to send midi tones thru infrared. there is no such option for midi tones to send.But the option is there for wave tones and amr tones.Do i need any software to send midi tones? Please help me...
