Hi, Access, install Ultra MP3 is not a solution... 6600 speaker is not good enough.. when open to loud volume, the sound get distorted... 7610 n 6670 does not have this prob

i am also using 6600 and the problem is not the software i also have all of this but the problem is the 6600 speaker is too soft it make the mp3 useless and the the prosesing is too slow

N6600 can have unlimited video with audio recording just install the application camcoder and if you want zooming in your pics and vids then install camera xpro. if you guys want some good music then install ultra mp3. if you want a secured mobile then install f-secure antivirus. if you want a window explorer type then install seleQ. if you want a remote control for your tv then install remoteIR.
so guys stop complaining that this n6600 has 9 secs vids and w/o music coz u guys are not that resourceful enough to upgrade your unit.

Hi, Sam, u are the right. The only 2 things that i dun think is soft ringing tone & 9 sec video. For this case, u have to use wave editior program to increase the ring tone volume. However, u cannot increase volume too much as the phone speaker itself cannot take it.... That's y, when i got my phone in 2003, i am not happy with the soft ring tone, even new firmware does not make any difference. That's the only thing i hate, the rest OK. As such, I will not recommend my frd to buy this phone due to these 2 reasons.

except 4 my sister who prefers the smaller

Hi, I bought N6600 yesterday. I was using N6210 phone for more than 3 yrs. I was very proud and happy for having N6210. Somehow I m not so happy with my new N6600. No doubt this phone comes at a decent cost with some good features like a decent camera, big screen, 64 K colors and if u download a good mp3 software it plays it well too. But I did not like the ring tones, they r too soft, even N3315 tones are louder. The loudspeaker is not good at all. I can't really call it a speaker phone. And the video recorder is just 9 sec... thats too less. N3230 is better. Even the quality of the voice recorder is pathetic. Can somebody please tell me if it is possible to improve the N6600 loudspeaker and ring tones output??

N6600 is one helluva cellphone. i have the latest version 5.27.0 and its working just fine. i have installed so many applications like ultra mp3, camcorder, f-secure antivirus, pvplayer, camera x-pro, remote control and with a 256mb mmc card this is the ultimate dream nokia cellphone for me!
many said that 7610, 6670 and 6630 are better. its true but nokia 6600 with so many applications can match every features that the latest nokia cells have plus its much cheaper and has a more solid unit.
as of this moment nokia 6600 is one of the top cellphones in the world.

Hi... Unknown (2005-01-09 09:03:15), u are wrong, nokia 7610 and 6600 difference is not MP camera alone. I honest tell all people here... DIfferences which has in 7610 1) 1 MP camera, 2) MP3 ringtone, 3) Loud ring tone 4) Able to write chinese lang, 5) Built in dictionary, 6) Video recording up to 10 mins.... the rest of the differences, not really impt to me ..

This phone came out in end 2003... At that time, its feature is the best. Of course, at the moment now, it loses out to many phones out there, this is normal. To me, this phone is okay so far, not much of trouble. Only thing I dont' like is that it cannot write chinese, no mp 3ring tone, ringing tone is soft, and video recording only 9 secs. However, all this can be corrected by software. For budget user, u may want to buy this. For people who have more to spend, I would recommend u to buy other phones.

we forgive u mr.nokia,u r always welcome as long as u criticised any fone politely.
and u must always remember that there is no perfect fone in this world{right now}
but its ok to critics any fone u wan bcz it it what this site meant for.Good luck

well,actually im not dat bad.Just to try the freedom dat i never had b4 when im a teenager.so sorry for disturbing u guys around here.Nokia 6600 is a good fone but just lack of features but it still great.hope u guys will forgive me and i promise i will never return to this site again as mr.nokia but as someone else,and i will shut my mouth too,i promise.So im gonna leave this site now so bye.Forgive me for my indicipline act.

be practical!! if u going to choose bet. 7610 or 6600 rather choose 6600! coz is bit of same the only difference is a MP CAM!!! u will spend much money for that?? what an idiot mine! now 6600 have a software that u can shot a pic. as quite same as mp cam.... so 6600 rox!

no radio, speaker phone is dump, why to waste so much money on this phone guys ? you cant hear mp3s in headset, buy k700i or 6230

boss i agree your comments on k700i, you tell me when you are getting all the features same like 6600 in k700i, then why you will buy this ugly size ? boss k700i dont have memory stick buy dont u know when u have usb cable, is there any need for memory, any time u can remove ur mp3 songs n download it, n basicaly k700i is far costly than 6600, so there is no story of jelous ? ?
