why o why does the nokia 6600 not have automatic keyguard. i waited years for nokia to use this usefull feature.after 12 months use of my 7250 with this feature,to then find that the flagship 6600 does not have it is very annoying!! and as for auto lock and putting 5 digits in everytime!! whats that about???

I'm amazed that no one has complained about the terrible look of this phone. It's cheap looking. Certainly not something to be seen with. Also, it's supposed to be light grey. All the ones I've seen are more cream looking. It looks like a protype. Come to think of it, maybe it is and we're the beta test. Any else seen a real grey one?

Hi live in Malta and i have a new mobile nokia 6600 and vodafone do not have the settings for my mobile they say in 10 or 15 days they will have it for gprs in England you have the settings for this mobile

I got my PCB changed. Now it's working fine. But i've got to wait n see, it might give problems again in weeks to come.....hopefully not.

Xenomorph is rite. The phone is indeed slow with pixelisation. Even the soft keys tend to hang at times!! It can't be used too fast. I usually have to ait for a while until it can be used again. Feel like exchanging the whole set for a new one! Huh! I'm disappointed!

6600 does not have stereo! that is 1 good reason why it does not support FM Radio! And sure it can play MP3, but who wants MP3 if it is in mono!!! and if you do not know what is a stereo and what is a mono, go ask Nokia

it has a terrible sound because it is not stereo, unlike n-gage and Pxxx for that matter,
any way try to stay clear from 6600 that are made in china, your best bet for bug free units are those made in finland... get some warranty too, i heard that firmware upgardes are coming

this is a big shot,unbelievable!!! the screen is so perfect.i love my phone so much,but the disavantage is that 6600 isnot supported aac,mp3 ringtones like n gage and the music is worse than n gage

I am planning to buy a nokia 6600 with in a week.can anyone the tell the price in dubai..does is it have problem in its software...how's the battery back up???(my talk time is one hr per day)with all the video recording,pictures,mp3,talk time for a 1hr...would the battery last for a day???

I wish I could say that all the handsets I tried were old beta ones, but they were not :( A total of 20 were brought to the store from Finland by an aquaintance of mine, and 70% of 'em had at least half of the bugs I described below... Not to mention that now, after further using it, I noticed the silver part of the cover scratches soooo easily...
