Alaby, 14 Feb 2009I luv nokia 6600 wit its great screen color, bt sadly its can't play mp3 ringtoneit can play mp3 tones but for that u have to install 3rd party applications like power mp3 , lcg jukebox etc. but the sound quality won't be that good.

iv had this phone for 3 years and its great, but lately i cannot send SMS! it always ke... morehi..... just dropping by to help you with it.. make sure you'll back up everything in your phone memory..the problem you encountered is a serious problem of you phone..or delete unnecessary files on your phone memory. since the phone only has 6MB.,make your it does go below 4MB..save everything in your memory card,(videos, images, wave tones, mp3's, ...and etc.)
-you need to format the phone by pressing
*#7780# - Reset to the original settings; some information's are also deleted and need to be re-entered like contacts...
*#7370# - Soft format - this will resets all the phone memory (like re-format a disk); make sure to have full battery charged !
or
make sure the phone is turned off..
[Green dial key]+[number 3(DEF)]+[star key *] then while holding the 3 buttons, press the power button,performs a hard format : this will return the phone like you have received; make sure to have full battery charged !

-Go to Messaging
-Click OPTIONS
-select SETTINGS
-scroll down, select OTHERS
-select memory in use: change it from PHONE MEMORY TO Memory Card (or the card name)

I' would just like to let you know that
Quick office and PDF reader for Nokia 6600
does not really work well due to its slow data reading style..
Nokia 6600 usually hangs up when reading PDF files...
I'll send you some very useful applications,,
its for your cellphone security..I hope you'll like it..
feel free to discover the function of the software..
just download the attachments...
NOTE: do not install it in your cellphone's memory..
instead, install it in your memory card...

yess this phone can accept mp3!!!!!!!!! download a mp3 player on to it from the web and install on to the phone then get send songs download them or get them from wherever but they will play with the mp3 player

HELP!
iv had this phone for 3 years and its great, but lately i cannot send SMS! it always keeps "resending" but then after a few minutes it fails to Send because of "low memory", even if my phone memory still has 1 MB or more,even my memory card has free 32 MB. the rest of the features are still ok though. PLEASE HELP!

For me is the best phone. I use nokia 6600 for 4 years now and still works with no problem

press n hold call key star key and number 3 key once
while hollding swich on the phone
it take while n phone is good is new

the analog stick stop working.can't push right like i want to.in Malaysia they call this phone 'nokia sabun'. the 5 button can't work properly. this phone drive myself crazy..i drive myself crazy by N'sync.
