Am using NOKIA 6600 and is one of the best phone i have,but my phone has occured viruses and i don't know how to remove it,plse if u can advice me what to do.

not good set even of 4Q 2003...bad camera result,very very slow processing,worst battery even on 850 mA,no sound loudness n its mono,u cant hear it ringing even in ur pocket, GPRS only class 6 is miserable,too heavy...it sucks better get Siemens SX1 much better than this pile of junk

Search for WMAPlus v1.20 to enable your phone so set mp3 ringtones...
don't search for plugin.sis and wmamp3oggcodec.sis bcoz some of them are not fix. the original codec is extracted fom WMAPlus...

Great!!! This phone can handle 1gb memory card or above using kingston and pqi mmc mobile... i've tested it already no hang ups even the card is near full...
ok guys if you want to play and set mp3s for tones search for WMAPlus v1.20, is has a built in codec that supports mp3, ogg, wma, etc...
to set mp3 ringtones, your mp3s should have id3v1 and id3v2 tags so that the codec can recognize the mp3 songs and don't forget to store your mp3s in the sound folder...
if you want a loud mp3, encode it to 16KBPS, 8KHZ... i already tested higher bitrates this one is the loudest settings...

Nokia 6600 is one of the best phones in the world so far as I am concerned.
When Nokia released 6620 & 6630, I thought they would incorporate FM Radio, so that I can change immediately.
I have used it for 3years and it hanged for only 6 times! It lacks FM Radio, and the sound and video recording time is short, also the control knob can be painful to the thumb as time goes on. Because of all these I will switch to Nokia N80 (after I have read its reviews) or go for a PDA (O2 Atom Life) both because of the FM Radio.

It was the best phone I've ever heard. A bit big but worth it. Awesome phone really. Too bad it got stolen :( I miss it

Hawk - I dont know how many pictures can be stored by using internal memories, but best stored in mmc just so it wont lag =)
Wiccababe - Honestly, the camera is fine for me ^^ but I did install another software called cameraFX and the pictures turn out a bit better lol =P
To set mp3 as ringtone, you just need the codec which you can download for free when you google it =D

Hello, I was thinking of purchasing this phone. About how many pictures can it store with just the phone's 6 MB memory? I'll buy an MMC Card later.
