Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hi Jia ,
The price of this handset in Australiais $ 450...in India 16000 Rupees and in US it is $320
I saw pictures with pink keys and pictures with blue keys. Is the same phone where you can change the light color, or do you have to buy the phone with the specific colour you want ?
i find this phone very interesting. is this more for females? or can guys use this too despite the slim and small size?
I´ve always had Nokia, never had a problem, my current phone a Nokia 6131 is over 2 years old, works perfectly, so I will always buy Nokia.
Also near alternative is the 3600 Slide and the 7610 Supernova, but the 6600 Slide is the best of these small sliders from Nokia.
This device would appeal to anyone seeking a value for money feature device. Interestingly its nearest alternative is the device it replaces: the 6500 slide.
The keypad is not small, almost the same size as 6500s ketpad.A very cute a nice design.Had fallen in love with it the moment i saw it!!!

Looks really good.
slider, 01 Sep 2008i have seen the actual device... looks sooooo much better in person.... 1000 percent beautiful... moreRegarding the looks.. you're right. Many Nokia phones have such physical quality: plain looking in pictures but beautiful when you're looking at an actual unit.
the price here int he philippines is 16k at nokia stores not 23k!!!!!
Well, the Nokie 6500 Slide has better specs, I miss the TV OUT (which also can be used for headphones) and Carl Zeiss lens on the camera, and I´m worried about the keypad being very small compared to the Nokia 6500 Slide.
Superb little phone, definitely the one i would buy if i wanted a S40 Nokia phone. But i prefer to wait for N85, more expensive
i have seen the actual device... looks sooooo much better in person.... 1000 percent beautiful... it can even compete with the 8800 arte... the materials used are top notch glass and metal and the weight give it a luxurious hefty feeling... it also retails for an unbelievably low price.... mid-midsegment pricing with decent features and top class looks will surely make it a winner.. get the magenta if u r a girl and the blue if u r a boy.... one downside is the lack of a volume rocker switch and dedicated camera button (nokia must have taken these features away to make the phone's contours more fluid).... great buy indeed if u r into fashion who likes features....
oops, 'have to correct myself. another trade-off: no function buttons on sides but has accelerometer. but then again, if you can't hold it like a normal camera, then that's one less use to have an accelerometer.
