Im not able to use the IR facility.
Though i activated the IR, im not able to recieve any files from another mobile device having IR !!

the body design is fine and the picture quality is better than most nokia phones though it can be improved to be as good as other brands. the dissapointing thing about this phone is that the IR port is useless. wats the groove in having a good camera phone when you cant send your pictures? I REGRET buying this phone because it's unable to send and recieve pictures wallpapers and even hip ringtones. the phone doesnt even have a voice recorder. for anyone that loves hip pictures and tones this phone isn't meant for you cos its useless in that capacity. Y u wanna use infrared just send it by MMS hey u dont expect too much for that price..

i had this phone about four months ago and the key pad keeps on freezing and not responding. apart from tis everything is okay at the moment.

I bought this phone thinking i bought something. Mind you this phone cannot send pictures tru its infrared. Making the infra red useless. DONT and i repeat DONT buy this Phone. It is rugged but dats all

I think the performance for this phone is very disappointing. Less than a year and I'm already experiencing problems with the keypads. They're getting less responsive. Don't know if it's only mine but... yea, I'm experiencing problems with it.

You CAN actually send images to a pc via infrared, but you need to download software called nokia pc suit from nokia.com first. Rather silly, but it works.

i would like to buy this phone.. but i really really want my phone to have infrared.. from what i've read, the IR sucks on this phone.. so.. is it that bad??? is it useless?? pls answer me as soon as possible.. anyone? :)

I think the 6610i is a very balanced phone. It has a very extensive set of features to suit both personal and business use. I have found it to be an excellent pone and am very satisfied. It was well worth the price.

Nokia 6610i is the best handset i like very much smooth in use good in look.... how much i say is less... for this model...

this phone is the best, the elegant design, the camera which appears to be dull but the final picture is so classy. this is a superb camera phone. i love it, its worth all the money, i spent. this phone is the best, the infrared must be improved....that's all, bluetooth can be brought seperately
