Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it has not helped. Am still getting delays in receiving and sending texts. I have a theory that it is down to battery strength. If it is, this is a serious oversite on behalf of Nokia

The phone has a LDR (Light dependent Resister)on the top right, on the front of the phone, this is used so that in good light conditions the keypad ligts dont come on. In bad light they will. If you dont think this is working properley go to where you got the phone from and complain!

i would recomment the sony ericsson S700i because the camera is better than nokia 6630.....further more it also have a integrated fm radio and the colour of it is 262k colour that is sharper colour than the nokia 6630 that is only 65k colour........the memory card that the nokia 6630 using are MMC(dv)thats not out in market yet....S.E S700i is also more stylish than the 6630 that is big and bulky.....thats all i can say about S.E and Nokia but i would highly recomment Sony Ericsson S700i

wat i can say bout this fone is.. GOOD! .. if u were thinking of getting N6230 or this.. i will strongly recommend for this ! n go for it.. this is 1 of the fastest symb base fone so far by nokia.. bout the mp3 tink u can expend ya rs mmc to 258 mb.. which i tink is quite alot songs on it.. even my mp3 player oni 128 mb =P cheap mp3 player ahha.. anywayz.. functions like radio actually is no big deal.. cuz is not a must function in cellphones nowadays .. yet i tried the high speed network thing frm DIGI.. is actually very usefull on ya laptop or sometink.. some ppl say like streamyx..

to ben dover: yeah it plays mp3s but the bad thing is that you don't have enough space on the memory card . you can only fit 6 mp3s

Have you checked your message settings?
You can get them sent to your phone from your network provider or from the nokia website which covers all networks!

Anyone else having these problems?
The phone just sometimes refuses to send messages saying that “Message sending failed”. Sometimes I have to turn the phone off and restart it to get a message to send.
Also having problems receiving messages. Some are not received until an hour after they are sent to me.
In all cases, I have a very good reception on the phone.
Any advice??

gerard, i'd recommend u the 6630 because it has lots of important features than that piece of junk
