pros:
- smallest 3G megapixel cellphone in the world (excluding asian market)
- wideband-on-the-go
- series 60 u.i. with symbian 8.0 platform(fast and reliable)
- 1mp camera and video recording with smooth 6x zoom
- good processor (see for yourself in www.jbenchmark.com)
- despite the design, this cell is quite ergonomic and confortable to hold
- bluetooth and usb 2.0 for very fast data transfer
- supports high quality mpeg4 and aac streaming or playback from the phone's memory
- supports opengl for an improved 3d gaming experience
- has the best mobile internet browser in the world
- great software package (one of the best imo)
cons:
- ugly (for most of the people, that seems to be a priority)
- no front camera
- doesn't have fm radio

it`s a very nice phone but it doesn`t have fm radio and infrared... And the display is not so nice, i would like an 240*320 pixels

Nokia phones, don't even think about it. Its design is bad, quality bad, and it is not designing one that will let me feel. It is all just for young and childish kids and they fall into the trap of buying bad phones.

Nokia have always been great at features & this one seems to be the best...But they seriously have to improve thier designs...Nokia have themselves to blame for the loss of their market share...they had been stuck on 4096 color screens when the Sony Ericcson did the damage with its 65k color screen in the mainstream market..Samsung has great designs in its Clamshell portfolio, if Nokia could make a descent design they could seriously put pressure on Samsung..Seriously i think the main reason Sony Ericcson has made inroads in the market is because of the success of the T610..i have seen one & i feel it is not as good as people say it is..it takes ages to go thru the menu, the mobile is very slow to respond..the reason why it was such a hit was it had a 65K color screen when Nokia with its 6610,6100,7250 had 4096 color screens...but seems to be gettin there act together in the display area..they should improve their designs also..

Feature wise this phone is everything you will need in a mobile phone. BUT it looks BAD. I am very good at recognising a stylish and elegant phone. Nokia, you have failed again. I think more than anything Nokia needs to work on their design element of planning, or hire a new designer, especially after the 7200 disaster!

motorola v1000 is more like a pda, and probably more expensive imo... nokia said this cellphone will cost about 500€ and the package includes a stereo headset, so it should have stereo...
