does any1 know if nokia are going to fetch a hnadset out with the tv function that the samsung d600 has got i think that is one of the best ideas for i moblie phone i have got the nokia 6680 and have recently come back from florida where i had taken some video recordings but i have no way of puting them on a dvd or video. COME ON NOKIA THE FUNCTION WOULD BE NICE.

Does anyone know if its possible to get the software for the 6680 to work with Windows ME. I cant change my operating system. The phone is great but its a pity i cant back up anything like pictures or videos

I really like this phone that I got from www.jtintl.com It has dual cameras one in the front and one in the back. I also download lots of MP3 songs. Video & Camera is great. I really like it. Always like Nokia products.

If u wan to access your data faster as in term of productivity, choose 6680. N90 is (220 Mhz) good but then it's speed is as slow as Nokia 7610 with 123 Mhz.

I just returned my 2-day-old 6680. Problem? It couldn't go from a 3G coverage area to a normal GSM area. If I did that, I couldn't even make any calls in the GSM coverage.
Also, it kept on saying it lacked memory - very bad for multitasking! In fact, when I had no other applications open, this phone still told me to shut some off. I pressed the # key to check and I was right, I only had the phone application running.
The memory is not how much memory you have on your external memory card, it is the memory internally. 10mb internal memory is NOT enough if you sync with Outlook and the likes.

the phone does support 512mb DV RSMMC, I have two. RSMMC won't work it has to be dual voltage (DV). £35 off ebay delivered. Symbian s60 is amazing although worth noting some apps/games that work on my 6630 don't work on the 6680 as its firmware is slighlty more updated, however all the best ones including TomTom Mobile5 run perfectly. I bought an o2 3g model off ebay and run it perfectly on my standard (non 3g) o2 sim card. this is the only phone worth getting at the moment. £200 for a sealed 6680 on ebay is a bargain, although note the 6680 CANNOT be unlocked (yet).

I've had 3 6680s in 3 weeks. In the end my supplier swapped the 6680 for another handset. Some of the problems I've had are: random phone lockups, phone saying it has a flat battery when fully charged and only a reset restores full battery status, phone receiving a call and only displaying the number not the name in contacts, phone appearing to have full signal though no calls can be made or received and a few more. Nokia showed little interest in these issues when I contacted them.
I like the phone's abilities to sync with outlook, the screen and the feature list. I just think the phone has not been tested enough before release.

does anyone know how to store bluetooth movies etc as they appear as a text wich eventually self deletes. can you store to memory card????

Sls: If you read the spec you would see that it has two cameras. One for video calling (the one facing you with the keypad), and one for taking pictures (on the other side of the phone). Reading the spec usually helps answer simple questions.

great great phone! but i droppped it recently and it now has a lot of dents!! anyone know how much (in peso) an original casing would cost? can't bear to look at it without wincing. thanks!

@robbie its true i have the handset tried to put 1g memory card in wouldnt work tried 512m still wouldnt work so i tried the 256m and it works fine so the 6680 dosent support these memory cards which is a bit poo

I think its a brilliant phone,but what I would like to see is that 3G phones should have bigger memory(internal as well as external).I know this is evident in the new N90/N91,but,in my opinion,Nokia has always lacked in the memory department
