@luke yes i work for o2 i have asked a team manger n they have said 3-4 weeks for the handset to be del to us and then ajnother 2-3 days for the 6680 to be put on our system i would suggest getting a new contract with voda or if you want to stay with o2 thgen get a new contract with o2 i started a contract with voda on thursday n i had the handset friday morning
@ alan, no-one has been told a date as of yet could be anyway between 12-14workings days
Called yesterday aft. they said this friday, however couldnt promise my delivery date. As a brand new O2 customer, i havent been too impressed with their customer service.
@ brev, how long? would u suggest getting another phone? do you work 4 o2?
to every1 who is wanting the 6680 on o2 dont hold your breath for it being with us on this week like i said before get ready for a very long wait
Does anyone work from o2 here and knows when they are coming into stock?
Well i tried to get my 6680 from o2 this morning and they said they didnt have it in stock and not sure when it would be! has anyone else had this problem today?
Still waiting for Orange to get them back in stock, again I ask, does anyone in here work for Orange?
If so, any ideas when they're likely to be in?
luckily minwa on back order too as i ordered it ages ago! Hopefully i should be receiving it in the not too distant future! will keep u informed. this is a great little site for info on these phones!
I am using my 6680 to access email and O2 Active, via GPRS (3G coverage seems poor). But every so often I get an annoying 'Packet Connection Active' message pop up with a beep. Does anyone know how to turn this off please?
also my brother is with o2 and is on the o2 max and he was offered it free as well
i was on a 100 tariff for mosy of the contract as i was waiting for my voda to finish, then i changed to the 400 mins and 1000 text, so thats maybe why cause they go by your call spend, i only went over to the 400 3 months back
@ luke i meant tomorrow and they put people on back order if they have ordered more than whats in stock so unless the order has already been placed by somebody when the phone was in stock but too many were ordered then you cant go on as a back order m8 just phone every day or two till its in stock.
the reason i told you to go through to disconnections is because they can do more for you
@ paul already did that... however they said i'd still have to wait for the phone and i cant be put on back order just have to keep trying!
@ claire how come they offered it you for £99.99 what your average spend monthly? i spend around £90 a month or used to and got phone free didnt even offer it me for £9.99 cant understand it at all
@claire not the gm order number its a different number for dhl use and u can track it online
@claire fone customer services and ask for your parcel number if they have it your handset is with dhl lol
if i remember correct its either 8 am or 9 am luke for o2 upgrades and choose the option to cancel your contract m8
