@ clare video messaging is 50p and online is more expensive if you need to speak with cust services it cost u £1.50 per min the ins is crap it say it covers you for loss but that is b*****ks i lost my phone and they said that my ins didnt cover it for loss cos it was my fault n i was on the gold ins, who wants ITB i know who i have called and the music you can down load is only £1.50 per song on voda but with o2 its going to cost around the £3.50 mark
on both, o2 and online, the online i think is for pepole who like to text a bit, and also with voda they charge you for itemised billing and if you want insurance they charge you £7.95 where o2 is just £4.99 and cover the sames things, and some tariffs charge for voicemail as well, also video message is 60p on voda where o2 are only 25p
@ clare which o2 do you mean have better tariffs o2 or o2 online cos they are 2 totally difrent companies
im down in essex and we have great 3g coverage and even 3 is good as well, and o2 customer service is much better then voda, and i do agree 3 are crap and i would not touch then with a barge pole but o2 is slightley better then voda on tariffs, coverage ans service and i have been with them for 2 years and i rate them very highley
@ clare i am the same with o2 i have worked for them for 18months and i was with them for 4 months lowed my tariff and disx because o2 cust care are the worst of the lot they pass you from pillow to post they never know what you are talking about the reception was crap and they 3g is non existant all in all they are probably the second worst network very closely behind 3
probaly one off, my mate works in a vodafone shop and has done for 5 years or so and to this day she says they are not that good, she is with orange herself, and would not leave them if voda offered her anything she wanted
@ carlos m8 i have had a word with some one @o2 and the 3g covarage in fokestone wont be there for a very very long time just thought i would let you know m8
i recently had problems with video call where the 6680 wouldnt let me do it called voda cust services and the woman i spoke to sorted it out for me she even called me via video call so voda cust care arent that bad
@ paul who is sad enough to send to send 2000 texts in a month and what is the point in getting a phone with 3g capabillitys and a second camara if you aint going to make video calls and not use the 3g services get your priorties stright
i left voda to go to o2 as i thought after 5 years with them i could not get anything out of them free or discounts, and there customer service was non existent so be careful carlos speak to both networks and go from there
Thanks mate, that's all I wanted to know.
Off to check out Vodafone.....
@brev look mate who cares what the 3g coverage is like at the moment when we get 800 mins 2000 texts for £30 a month and what do you want video minutes for at the moment when not enough people will have 3g yet
anyone who is wanting 6680 on o2 better get ready for a long wait has the handset came in stock yesterday and has now gone back out of stock i know i work for them, and trust me dont go on o2 they are s***e the 3g covarage is crap i was told that i would have 3g in may, then june now i am being told it will be september trust me go with vodaphone there 3g covarage is fantastic and the tariff i got was 500mins 100 texts 50 video calling mins and unlimited downloads per month for £40 and the cost me £30.00
with regards to 3 network i wouldnt take a contract with them if they gave me free line rental with 1000 minutes and 5000 texts as i wouldnt be able to use them the network coverage is virtually non existant if it rains u cannot even send a text in manchester and 3pay is even worse u lose any credit unused after a certain period of time what is this 1990`s lol
to be honest ive been told 3 are not very good on reception and they were using the o2 signal untill they got there own, not sure if they are still doing it but i think o2 is much better then 3, im sure paul would agree
@carlos o2 are working on 3g coverage as we speak and as they have the best coverage for the service they already provide it will be just as good if not better as time goes on
Great discussions in here, but still no clue as to the cobverage I need on 3G with O2.
I'd be happy to port to them if I can get good 3G coverage (Folkestone, Kent) for browsing the net / connection to my office network etc., rather than just able to browse 3G content provided by the Network (i.e. "3").
Hope I've explained it better this time.
@ claire email me i will advise you tonight im not putting info on here for everyone
