TO TOM: i had the sam problem i then call vodafone who had alook at the network coverage and said that was fine the the CSA from vodafone called me via video call and after that it works fine i can now make video calls work fine so all i can suggest is keep trying or give voda a call

ranjan... i also had this problem... not able to call from phonebook. earlier i was using a pre paid connection...n now postpaid... n i heard somewhere dat.. this problem happens only wid pre paid card...n its true... the moment i put post paid sim into it... there's never had been a problem wid calling ever since.....it works gr8 .. though battery life is less...1 day...but i listens to music almost 3-4 hrs daily :-)... so i guess its k....

I got one late June 2005 from Carphone Warehouse on "3" in the UK. Despite stating that I wanted to "free browse" the net I discovered from 3 (after a very long wait on hold to 333 customer support) that one can only reach those sites that appear in "Planet" which are for the most part about 25 oence are are crap like Big Brother Gossip... and if one tries to use WAP or GPRS to browse, say, www.bbc.co.uk/mobile one cannot. What on earth is the point of a very high speed phone if one cannot do something simple like browse at will? AVOID 3 at all costs.. on Orange or )2 it works fine as my son who has one atests!

im fed up with o2 as they keep putting the date back, first they said june then middle of june then end of june and yes you guessed they now say 1st week in july, i really want this phone GRRRRRRR

i bought the phone in Karnataka India.m facin a prob since d very first day.d phone hangs a lot n i cant make calls from d phone book.d nokia dealer says its a software prob n all 6680's have similar prob.m perturbed what to do now after spendin so much on d phone.

amol... if u r reading this.... i went to nokia priority... n they said dat 512 mb dual voltage mmc card has not yet come in mumbai...or india i guess..... r u using dual voltage card (which cel u've got?) or jus a normal mmc card.... reply.... thanx

cyber sak... its really good fone... much better than SE K750i...750 i has got only 2 mega pixel... n no edge.....

It 's a great phone.The only disadvantage is that it doesn 't have infrared.I 'll buy it in September probaly.

One of the best fone.. But was having just 1 problem that can be serious.. Stg with to do with the memory.. Do find it out yourself owners.. In the end, nokia will make us to buy another fone stg like thisone after sometime.. All business.. Hmm.. Nokia = Never Complete to provide everything that was needed..

i've switched from using p800,motorola 398,p900,n6230,p910,n6230i,treo 650 to n6680.
it's a great fone...only problems i've encountered:
-very small text (messaging)
-small keypad
-it always shows memory full...close some applications, but i could deal w/ it
...but 4 me,this is a better fone!
including the apps!

hi...i have this on vodafone and video talk works fine... i called a friend who is on 3, and the reception and pic were fine...

has any one got this phone on vodafone i have tried making a video call to my girlfriend who has the 6680 but i keeps saying the mobile/ network you are calling dosent support video calling which doesnt make sences because we are both in 3g areas and both on vodafone has any one else had this problem if so how did you slove the problem
