I purchased Nokia 6680 and start getting hanging problem . I consulted the shop he reformat the phone memory but still I am facing screen bright and hanging problem.It is under warranty but I dont know will they change the set or not

mine has crashed and the software is problematic.it cannot switch on or off and tho nokia says it has one year warranty they say they support it if you are with vodacom which i am not

ok thanks doaa, it was misleading what the suplier said that was all, i thought all new phones charge for at least 8hours on first charge, mine was full in three but i still get 3days of power.. thanks

Look Neil ..the first time you charge your battary should stay more than 8 or 10 hours in the charger but the second time or the third it will taske from you 2 or 3 hours .. mine took 2 hours to get charged and stays for 3 days ..and the charge stay in the phone for 3 or 4 days and this depend on you work on the phone ...Hope I helped !

can someone please tell what is normally the first battery charge? as mine was full in 3hours but was told by my supplier it should be 15hours the battery life lasts a few days

To nokiafan - these phones are simply gorgeous! It's difficult to place one above the other and the ultimate choice will depend on your preferences. If you play music a lot on your phone and have a passion for taking great photos, u can't go wrong with w810 (it's a walkman); if you fancy a fully functional phone with an excellent blend of camera and music capabilities, 6680 is a sure bet (it's a smartphone which means you can download and install heaps of interesting applications) and it supports 1gb memory cards. It's up to you to decide which really suits your fancy. Since I could not decide, I got them both!

@joel: you'll need to set the mailbox only if you need to receive your emails on your phone. In that case you should ask the provider of your e-mail to give you the settings, If it supports this function. Regarding the instant messaging service, it can be used if your carrier offers this function. You should call them and ask, and also ask them to give you the settings.
