I bought nokia 6680 yesterday and its pretty good cell just FM radio is missing :( ok i changed its casing and it wasnt that difficult tho but yes its kinda sensitive but when you remove battery u will see two jacks inside all u got to do is to pull that jack and upper part of back casing will open then just use ur nails and remove the front part of casing its not that difficult i guess!

just wanna share my prob n if possible to get a solution. My 6680 cannot support MP3 ringtones. Setting problem or what?

i think its a good phone but not d best,,
i've bought it about 5 days ago n i dun fine much difren between diz fone n my girlfriend's 7610, its just about the cameras and 3G which is still not work in my country...
i give 8 for diz fone's score...

yO. i have this phone and i love it. it has the best features anyone could ask for, but the only thing bad about it is that sometimes it turns off... and i believe it only happens when you over used it with more than one features or so. besides that ITS a perfect phone =D

@Almas: I think the decisive factor in the chosing one of the two phones is money. If you decide you can live without the difference between the two , then go for the n70. If on the other hand you're not so keen on spending a lot of money, go for the 6680. There aren't so big differences, a new firmware for 6680 has already appeared, improving some options from previous firmware...Anyway, if you can live without the 0.7 MP difference, and a few MB of memory, I suggest the 6680

@ D@v!d: you can not change the cover yourself. You have to take it to a nokia center, because it has no visible screws and the system is based on clips. If you try to remove it yourself, you'll certainly break those clips, and your phone will be screwed.
@vlashrshadiz merulan: can be cleaned with a dry cloth...as for the other "device" :)) don't think such a thing exists

i don't have this mobile right now but wana buy it soon so wat u guys recommend 6680 or n70 but i heard somewhere that n70 has a software problem,
on the other hand someone saying that n70 has a better software n good look than 6680

mr: what do you mean lock code? The original phone code is 12345. If you are refering to a code that will make your phone work on any network, on series60 v2 they can't be provided. It is an extra safety regulation imposed by nokia. But for a certain fee, your network service will do it for you

to muyekhuir,, a dummy phone is what they use in shops so the customer can see what the phone looks and feels like but has no internal electronics.Its just the plastic phone with no internal workings so you have bought a phone that will never do anything..Ive never used e bay so do not know what you can do about it

Thanks butch, if u know ram provided by 6680 and 6681 coz on my 6681 i am getting only 7.93 mb ram at reboot.

muyekhuir avasurkha: can't help you man...How can we now what you bought from ebay? I dunno what to say...Check if the battery is original...It must have a 3D sticker on it, and a serial number on the sticker. If it's new, the serial should be covered by a coat of 'scratching' material...that means you have to scratch it off with a coin.After you see the serial number go to the nokia site and verify if its genuine..Besides, try to plug in your charger...If it doesn't light up your display, ..you bought a useless copy...Hope this helps

The loudspeaker is mono, so even stereo mp3's sound mono. When using headphones the sound is stereo.
