Further to my review posted in April 2022, I have honestly not encountered any of the issues posted by some reviewers here. I still find the phone to be excellent value for money. Screen is still amongst the very best FHD IPS screens in terms of sunlight legibility, video playback, photo viewing, and related matters. Great daylight photos and videos. Typing on the screen is still buttery smooth - even with a tempered glass screen protector. Emails, Whatsapp, Chat messages, etc., are a breeze. I use the phone as a productivity tool and NOT FOR GAMING. I also ensure that apps are updated and that the cache is cleaned (emptied)

The first week I had the phone I already had these issues I've had i... moreJust stop lying and promoting Samsung, clearly there's a reason why phone users like us came from Samsung to Nokia, because of the reliability issues, durability issues and overpriced spare parts of Samsung by the so-called official retailers.
Also it's your own fault for purchasing the 32GB model when there's a tiny price gap between higher storage models

The first week I had the phone I already had these issues I've had it for three years now and hated it. When touching the screen 1/4 of the time it Never works, there's incredibly big lag which you have to wait 5 minutes for it to go away, there's only 32 gigabites, when I download something from the play store it doesn't work 2/3 of the times, sometimes the battery shows the wrong percentage, sometimes when I try to delete files or download apps the phone just restarts. there's too many issues to remember, just get a Samsung.

Anonymous, 31 May 2022No you can't. Whether you disabled updates from developer options. Updates are forced. I was able to disable updates on mine though

Have had this phone for a year. Screen is the best IPS screen I have seen so far. Excellent brightness and best sunlight legibility. I easily get TWO to THREE days battery life with a single charge Photos and videos are top notch. Buttery smooth typing on the screen. Only slight downside is the SLOW PROCESSOR (Snapdragon 636). This phone is for everyday normal use with texts, emails, videos, etc. The slow processor means that this phone is NOT FOR GAMING. For consumption of content, the phone has unbeatable value for money.

I bought a Nokia because it is user friendly.
The latest updates turned my phone onto a mare.
If I wanted a useless phone I would have bought another brand.
I'm disappointed.

I received android 11 update. I haven't installed it yet. But it seems nokia had cancelled it, because i can't find it now under system update.

chronotee, 27 Jul 2021Hi I too had this whitish issueThe proximity sensor is an annoyance for sure while on calls. Sounds very similar to what I experience pretty much every call. I don't enjoy the photo quality but have decided propping on solid surface and using the flash is best way to go.
I do agree with phone pros otherwise, it has been a good.
