hi...i need to download a yahoo messenger on my nokia 700...but i can't and its not found in ovi store too...or is it that this phone cant accept some application?
how to use skype on my nokia 700.i read some infermation from net,it will suuport skype..but i didnt get...??????????????????
I have bought this phone 2 months ago, nice phone.
The main thing that i like in this phone is smaller.
Clear black display help me a lot times. The new nokia's Symbian Belle OS runs on my mobile nicely. The main thing i like in this OS is pull down menu. Thats controls the internet connection weather to swithch mobile data/WiFi ON or OFF. So my operator cannot charge for unusual data connection when i not buy an intenet data pack.
₪Skype cannot be downloaded.
This is because may be this phone is not updated in the skype's smartphones directory.
₪Google maps not working properly.
Tnis is because may be google does not provide support to nokia phone buyers because for not buying android phones
Have been using this phone for a month now. My phone will switch off on its own at times when i unlock it to make a call or send an sms. After a minute, it will on itself. Is that normal?
nokia700user, 09 Feb 2012Hi Guys, just wanted to ask if this is normal. When Viewing Photos or doing Regular Stuff, ... moreI think it's the light sensor working, it adjusts the brightness of the screen automatically. If you're in a dark room, the brightness turns down and turns up outdoors.

When Viewing Photos or doing Regular Stuff, ... moreNot normal, but maybe you are putting your hand over the light sensor just above the screen by accident
Check how you are holding the phone
Hi Guys, just wanted to ask if this is normal.
When Viewing Photos or doing Regular Stuff, the Display just dims and brightens a couple of times. Is this normal? Tnx
Just a little tip about angry birds magic:
to unlock new levels, just turn on nfc, tap phone on nfc sticker on startup guide. No need for seperate nfc device!
Bought this phone two days ago, here are my thoughts:
Design/Build - I used X3-02 previously, so naturally was drawn to it's unique look. One of the few with front facing speaker. Feels solid in the hand.
Screen - clear black amoled allows great contrast and rich colors. Some say unrealistic, but that's only true if you're viewing low res pics and videos.
Apps/Games - It's symbian not android, so you know what to expect. Only hd games I found on nokia store were ACreed and Shrek. I think it depends on the region.
Web - wifi works great, downloading is smooth, browser much improved.
Speed - n700 is fast, only lags when scrolling and going in and out of apps. No biggie. Video playback is smooth.
Camera - good enough for casual pics.
Battery - runs out fast using internet and games.
Overall, great compact smartphone that gets the job done. Thumbs up!

iain lumsden, 31 Jan 2012I took out a phone contract and was given a nokia 700.I am not saying it is better or worse th... moreSmartphones aren't for everybody - but if you find Symbian Belle complicated then you'd have been even less happy if you'd been given an Android phone
Sell the phone - if it's new then you can get a good price for it - and get a cheap PrePay phone in the same brand as your last phone running on the same network as your contract - your SIM card will work in it and you can make calls with the credit on the PrePay SIM card so you won't have lost anything
fair, 31 Jan 2012Man already i told you i am from UAE,and most of the applications are blocked here, fring too.a... moreActually all you said was that you were from the UAE. You mentioned nothing about 'application blocking', and maybe this will come as a surprise to you but the policy of your country on such matters is not common knowledge (nor in most instances of much interest) to people living outside your frontiers
The posting I made described what you need to do to define a VoIP service on your phone within Symbian 'Belle' - the reference to Fring was just suggesting a suitable front-end for the service. If this corresponds in any way to how you originally set up VoIP on your N8 then I suggest you take the parts that are relevant from my post and then complete with whatever additional software or configurations you used on 'Anna'. Otherwise I suspect you have supplied too little information for anybody to be able to help you much further
