No points in arguing here. Walk in a shop and try both sets urself.
I have more than one friend bought the 7610 and they r regret for the photo quality after they looked at my 3230.
I extracted my photos into my pc using card reader/bluetooth dongle, and its suprisingly in good quality altho its only 1.2 mp only. But to 7610's quality, it loses to 3230. And in pc, the photo itself will enlarged in a larger view-zoomed. Thats a fact bcos my friends and I witnessed it.

u sure?!?! u sure?!?! why not take both and zoom in. see which one is more clear.. please la... you all think bout the resoultion.. what is the use.. is the pic quality.. not the size.. check it out again..

Theres no way the picture quality of 7610 is better than 3230. I have a friend using 7610 and we compared it, not only both of us agreed on 3230's picture quality but others as well.
But then, if u dont trust me. U may simply walk in a shop and try both sets urself.

No no.. dont get the nokia 3230. although is is a 1.2 mp camera.. the picture clearlity loses to nokia 7610. it is more blur then the nokia 7610... nokia 7610 has better quality camera for some reasons... and 3230 will hang more often... and now adays... people uses bluetooth.. there is no need for infared... and for radio.. you can nstall it.. well.. as for the radio.. u can install the application.. Singapore and other asian country sell mini radio.. can go to a market and get it for $2...the size of the minio redio is as big as almost as big as the nokia 7610 screen.. onli a bit smaller. and stereo out put some more... 3230 is really more lousy then the nokia 7610..... trust me... if you have any questions... u can e mail me at llamtk@hotmail.com

For 3230, 7610.
I personally suggest u to get a 3230 as it has EDGE, 1.2 megapixel, infared and radio while 7610 dont have. It can also set mp3 as ringtone just like 7610 but both uses mono speaker. If u want a better sound quality, get another brand than Nokia. For example, SE.
7610 is more fashionable but when it comes to functions, 3230 is the winner.
I had been through this dilemma before buying a new phone and didnt regret in getting 3230 than a 7610.
However, the final decision is urs. Decide urself.

nokia 7610 cllasic phone fast sarching cliear sound cliear picture...but when antivirus install phone than one type infacted file (locknut)eny 7610 mobile on the disply..(locknut) not remove...

i-mates are the worst phone ever, nokia is way better i want to upgrade to nokia 6680, this nokia 7610 is a great phone i have one now and does the trick!!

this i-mate is really an excellent fone.its better than 9300,9500,p910i.i really like tat fone.i have 1 and its really kool.. 7610 is the worst phone in the world dont buy it... If u have it then throw it and buy I-mate Jam..

i ve bought 7610 3 months ago..the function and abilility are awesome..but very pity coz it doesnt have radio only the mp3..the standby battery also long lasting..i m not thinking to find any new model of hp..only if this hp lost or damage it would might to..

Its really a cool phone infact with it all u need to keep doing is upgrading eithjer thru the USB or bluetooth or GPRS.Just dat I need an anti virus for mine cos its caught caribe virus

im nw in a dilemma...whether to choose Samsung D500C or Nokia 7610 or even 6670!!!
As i noe,Samsung D500C can take dwn beter quality of photo..
n for Nokia...it has a memory card which allows me to download much more stuffs..
do u think d internal memory 96MB is realy big enuf?
n can i noe whts d diff btw 6670 n 7610?
