hi guys ive donwloaded solved dic. from nokia.com but it doesnt wrok coz its saying that u need application key....do u know wt does thats meens n wt should i do n wt is the application key?!!?!?!?!?:(

hi frends I m sukhen and just like u I m also a proud owner of this cool stuff (7710) that nokia has launched in to the market . This is my first cell phone and I m very unknown about how to improvise my cell through various softwares. well i have no knowledge in which site I can get good softwares and games for free. so all u frends out there pls help me if u can. got 4.0.1 firmware upgraded few weeks back - phone looks a little faster, better and firmware uprade worth compared to my previous firmware.
problem - first time I have had problems with Voicemail notification Icon. Even if new voicemails are there in the voicemail box, I do not see the icons. Strange! tried restarting - no luck. reformatted - same problem. but other phones do display the icon - so problem has tobe in 7710. Today again formatted and it was back to "little" normal - icon is discplayed in the screen saver - but not in the main screen, and after I finshed deleting the voicemails, icon was gone. But next, when a new voice mail was present the icon did come in the main screen but stayed off even after deleting the voicemails!!!
Any help here?

been using 4.01 (nokia center guy said 4.5 but checked with *#0000# eventually it's 4.01 :( )
what i like : faster name retrieval from contacts when replying sms, craches surely reduced, slightly better camera, mp3 resumes after sms (love it!),
what gone worse :
cannot lock phone using power button | lock phone --> any suggestion?

1) 7710 claims tat v can use it as a camcorder.But I wonder how is it gonna perform when u take up a pic/video in the nite...! any users to describe on this one?
2) Yet another doubt is tat, how is the performance difference gonna change if i put in 1 GB in it. Coz some applications work on static memory and some on the shared memory (Correct me if I am wrong!).Well, does the 1 GB matter in these cases?
3) I understand we can have a wider view coz of the screen size. But does it reach up to the standards of N70 (for example!) in terms of pixels and the like? I wonder about the clarity of images/audio in the case of pic/video!

the 7710 is better than p990 in my opionion, because i own it best multimedia phone out right now, it handles java, real player dvd movie converter, radio, bluetooth, mp3, emulators, and more

Could anyone please list out the changes in the new version 4.5 compared to the old one 4.01.0.
BTW is there any site which gives the details about the latest firmwares released for the NOKIA phones??

Well Any company that makes a firmware like Nokia has made 4.0.1 and 4.50 well 4.50 is the latest and it has to be better than 4.0.1 as it the latest firmware so i would suggest that 4.0.1 is also good there are very minor changes between 4.50 and 4.0.1 so u can go for 4.0.1

Guys, I am getting FIRMWARE version 4.01 here. I asked for 4.5, but the dealer is saying it is not currently in stock. Is 4.01 good enough?(not hanging, closing apps and all that).
Or should I wait for 4.5? Pls help me.
