coz me having troule closing applications,..
the fone becomes realy slow n me have to switch it off then bk on again coz i dunno what to do to close app

Latest version of firmware will be upgraded at any of the Nokia priority service centres.Make sure you carry the necessary bills and warranty card so as to get it done free of cost.

Sycn, with calendar, right now, if you are in a state where you cant connect, try re-installing the Newest PC Suite, this usually fixes the problem, but if you have done these methods, and cant still connect, try going; from your phone, Sync, connect the data cable, wait for the Windows sound, then from the phone click Syncronise, it may not be able to sync, if there is no PC Suite log available.

hi witking and all please solve my quries:
i have a 7710 manufactured in china in feb of 2005 so what is the firmware i have on this phone. how would i know about the version i have. is it somewhere on booklet provided or needs some special characters to be insertes with hashes and stars!
my second and more important question is what are the latest firmware available in india and how could i upgrade it?

I have the latest firmware 4.50. The phone is really wonderful if you use switcher regularly to close apps. No more problems!

got my 7710 2 weeks. Found pressing right lower button does not close all applications properly, but switcher does!

Tbe number of positive responses on this forum gives us and all other N7710 users whether we did a good decision in buying it or not.
Of course as the number of features increases, the handling capacity of the phone takes a hit.
but this is not that bad as some of the negative talkers say, Anyways these are all personal opinions,,

Yes,i was about to ask exactly the same question...When the phone is in "silent" mode,it doesn't vibrate for msgs.,only for calls.Why? Is it a flaw which Nokia forgot to add or what?? Please help...

Got this fone a week ago...
it juss rocks... havent seeen a better fone..
but its a lil too large....would be more popular if was a cm or 2 small...
but me have no regret having this fone..
I have a question to the people who have this fone...
wen u keep the fonw is in silent mode we dont get the vibrating alert for a message but only for a cal... can some1 tel me how 1 can switch on vibrating for messaging in silent mode....

Bokia: You need to convert videos into the specific format that the software/phone wants. Are you using realplayer, smartmovie or something else? Smart move comes with a convertor to convert anything into its format and its easy enough to use. The phone's realplayer is not a standard version and will not play PC realplayer files and instead uses 3gp files.
Mame needs to be installed onto the Device and not all games work on it. Look at harmonicode website to see which games are compatible. I prefer picodrive myself, so no longer use Mame.
Jonathon: Do you have the phone or are you just anti what you have read or heard?
GSM: Whats with the new advertisments and the draconian censorship? I dont think you can have one working well with the other, so please decide what you want, more people or more revenue as I'm getting a mite sick of wondering if my posts are PC enough and to now wee them with advert links in sucks.

Witchking, or anyone who knows. How do i get videos to play on my phone. I would be making full use of it if i could watch videos or movies. i want to get a 1 GB memory card but it would b point less if i cant play videos. Then when i finally found a real player file only the sound worked.

to the guy who doesnt like the phone, ur just hatin. this is the best, greatest phone ive seen yet or owned. i mean how fast do u want a PHONE to go. it doesnt have a cable modem.
