i just bougth a nokia 7710. it's a really cool phone. i really like it. it has almost everyth that i wanted. but there one problem is it doenst have much application to install.

7710 is a cool phone...!!!!.... past few weeks I owe this phone...n I tell you that's a great phone so far...!! great for entertainment and backup your office files such as Excel,doc...n i don't mind bout keyboard button...!!!

I just recently purchased the nokia 7710. so far, it's pretty cool. the image quality from the camera is very good, definitely better than my previous P900. one complaint so far is the speed, the processor is slow. turning on the fone and transition between applications takes a bit of time. Sometimes it freezes up. as for convenience, the lack of keypad makes it difficult for me to dial a phone number while driving because i need to use the touch screen. other than that, i totally enjoy the features such as fm radio, camera, mp3 player. im just a student so i dont require much features.

To all users of 7710 please suggest me whether I should buy it or not. Because in my city some persons told me that there is many problems in 7710. I am too confused please help me. Thanks

Hi guys,
Got the phone for a couple of weeks and so far it rocks. I rather look at this phone as a multi-media phone than a PDA phone. It packs the best MP3 playback quality and video playback function. Can't complain about the mega-pixel camera that takes awesome pictures unless the light is bad.
Think it will take some time for the S90 to have more applications. But patience my friends.. the future is bright.

scs,the big screen is for web browsing+video just dobles up the pixels so its less quality at full screen therefore same amount of info is being proccessed so shud be no lag

I bought my n7710 from a local dealer. Initially, im impressed. however, after two week of use, i noticed the following.
1. In the middle of my txt, the unit would re-start.
2. The talk and standby time of the battery is really short. I would have to recharge within the day if i want to last up to midnight from 8 or 10 in the morning (16 to 14 hours only)And to think, i use only about an hour (max) of talk time.
3. I have a hard time accessing my email.
May be the other nokia units have addressed my concerns already

I'am from India and here the 7710 costs around 25,000 Rs.And the current rate is 1US$-44Rs approx...SO u wud be able to calculate.I still dunno whether i will be able to use different applications and themes but still i'am going for it as it's the most exciting new cellphone available in the market right now...what say???Plz if u get to know about any free sites to download themes/application/etc for 7710 plz let me know....thanks

There will surely be a lag while playing movies in full screen mode...smart movie s/w can play videos in full screen mode in 7710..but the partial screen mode itself is very clear and satisfactory...so why need full screen mode..partial screen mode is itself bigger than wat u view in Nokia 6600(full screen)..cheeeers!!
