Anonymous, 09 Aug 2020Please tell me how to increase its battery lifeDo not let it discharge under 20%. Unregular charging it actually boost lithium life, wierd, but true. Charge it whenever you have a chance. Monitor what the apps you've installed are doing while idle. Block background acces for all of them that are not emails and socials (work accounts). Uninstall apps that are not needed (disable if unable to uninstall). All of this will increse standby time, not usage time. Usage time will be bettered only if you lowere the screen brightness as much as you can.

I just want to say, nokia has trained all of its staff to humiliate people with issues by blaming it as water damage. White lies on our faces. Not just a handful, a lot! Don't try playing it down that your grandpa had a lumia and all and it worked fine. No one cares. I used mine as specified. Never used while charging. Stopped playing games which got it heated. Always used nokia charger. Do i need anything else to clarify your illusionary speculations? It happened to me twice and I will tell it to everyone. Keep defending whatsoever you want to. It's visible how biased u are

That's all you could come up? 6.1 plus had a 10W in box. 18W needed to be bought separately but the battery degraded faster. My moto one power still gives amazing battery backup despite being a little older. Least to say it doesn't reboot itself and never even heard of it. Nokia? People signing petitions on change.org to acknowledge and free repair their charging ports to get it done. Lol!

If i search iphone charging port, i finde even more videos, if i search samsung charging point i find issues, it is not like it all comes down to nokia, but well, some people do like to poke the nokia name. As for the issue, there are people that has it, and there are people that never owned a nokia an "has" it because well, why not just troll a bit. Most people who have no problems do not use nokia comunity, so yeah, their will be a lot of negatives, all sorts: from people who have no idea how to use a device and the problem lays in their hands, to people that really have a problem but don't know how to deal with it, would be way simpler to just take it back. But yeah, HMD streched to far and can't keep up, that is why some people are unsettisfied. Repariring tough, does work and it should be used. Useless complains in GSMarena to make it look massive while it ISN'T is not helping you, nor anybody. And as i was saying. Nokias keep growing in my family and none has the charging port issues. Hack not even nokia 7.1, the most known for the issue. So i presume, it might have a lot to do with the fact that some m charge it with other not nokia chargers, like samesung or sony or whatever. A long time ago a friend of mine killed it's charging port with a sony charger. That was a lumia 830. Long time before hmd.

Service centres here had customers queued up for exact same problems yet it sometimes showed up even after getting repaired. Their recent software builds are causing reboot loops since months. Youtube is filled with charging port diy tutorials which aren't as simple. B''t ??

I am now sure that current hmd phones by nokia are nothing but cheap overpriced crap. I had two phones. Both of them were marred with charging issues, reboot issues and what not. Poorly designed and made like chinese phones. Even chinese phones are now sturdy and offer value for money. But nokia won't last a year. I won't be surprised if it's dead anytime soon. Wasted my money!

very disappointed after 5 months using this phone
touch freeze in a middle of a game even i reset the phone still the same im soo very disappointed i wish i could bring it back to the store where i brought it my nokia 6.1 is doing well i regret buying this phone
