It should have launch within few days but due to coronavirus and MWC hault it is delayed.
To HMD/Nokia: Its 2020 now and you're still stingy with specs. and you dont even consider the battery capacity. My old phone and my current were all under 300$ but with better specs, camera , battery life and still performs like a beast.
And dont blame people and users in your downfall. This is all on you. So you either step up your business of see it fall in front of your eyes once again.

As some funtion you say are handy (especially pinch zoom) they might come to pure android, who knows? Install Niagara launcher, it is a pretty cool and simple launcher, it has some extra cool feuters if you pay for it, but it is cool also when not and the developer is easy to address to as he has two groups on telegram, on one of them he deploys his testing apps before the store release.

I Like my Nokia 7.2 but I must admit the below have given me a hard time.
1. I have to press enter after entering phone code
2. Startup tone has been forced on me. I have tried to deactivate all possible sound settings but can’t figure out.
3. Creating App folders – I have to manually drag all apps. Was used to adding from within the folder using the + sign.
4. After editing screenshot I don’t see the share shortcut. It only prompts one to SAVE COPY then you have to look for it from the gallery
5. Unable to scrollshot…
6. Unable to Zoon in and Out my text messages by pinching my screen.
7. Unable to copy multiple messages from within the same conversation trail
8. When I forward my text messages it does not indicate ‘forwarded from’
9. Has no Screen Recorder and Voice Recorder. Granted they can be downloaded but I don’t want the trouble of going through hundreds of app store reviews to select which one is safe and works well.
10. Photo Edit does not have paint options – I therefore cannot convert to Pencil, Crayon or Watercolor
All the above are based on my 4 years of using Huawei P9 Lite and I therefore have to take time to get used to the new way of navigating the Nokia 7.2. I am catching up though.

Just joking.... if you are one then you know that actually some problems come because of error by installing and has nothing to do with debugging, right? You are an expert you should at least know this... And minding the fact that not every 7.2 user has this problem becomes even more clearly that this problem might have a connection with android 10 update? Just saying. And you as developer as you claim should know the best in this situation...and my question was other. Do you know how many people complain daily about problems that mostly are their fault? Of course they do debugging, this is their job, but to expect for them to make you a private favor, not only you think highly of yourself, you seem you have actually no idea how companies work, so you probably do amateurisch Software, big companies don't work like this. They have analitycs where the real bugs are, tracking, debugging, crushing, deploying, testing releasing. As i have said, you should know better.
Anyone got February patch?

and yes - as a software developer I expect others to put as much effort in solving their software problems as I do with my software. and since hmd is not putting effort in resolving their software problems, then their support is not proper. especially when their made module (com.hmdglobal.app.sarauth) at some hook is crashing key phone software module.
and that's the message I am communicating here to other potential buyers of Nokia devices.

As for HMD, you really believe they will sume all their developers for debugging a crash repor for each and every customer that does not want to reset? You gotta think way to high of yourself...

Second of all one can see you do not owe the device, so your comment is just another way of trolling. If you want a device that just works and you have to just look at it, you are in the wrong wagon, that would be ios or whatever unreleased or dead os like windows phone. I have never seen an android device that was 100% stable especially HTC's. If is not a "toy" for you, then try harder and buy yourself an apple, android is not for avarage joe or drama queens, i keep saying it over and over again. And as i always say to people, who is forcing you to "use" it? Just from here one can see the trolling nature of yours, so go buy a duck and do some quacks.

for me the phone is a tool that either works or not and not a toy for me to play with for hours to make it work. if device is not working it's place is in a trash bin.
before this junk 7.2 I had thee units of original HTC One Dual SIM each working flawlessly before retiring each one after 2 years of use. Nokia's junk does not stand nowhere in line with HTC devices. so it's not happening "everywhere and with any device".

Test the sim, is it stable in other devices? Take the slot out and take the sim out, clean it and put it back in. Android 10 is know to be rejekted by some routers i didn't figure out the reason. Reset the network, in settings/system/advaced/reset options/reset wifi, mobile, bluetooth. Try other simcard, see if stable. Do you have some kind of firewall installed? (Netguard or something in this criteria) if so disable it, clean cache and restart the device. Stop automatic network selection and manually select your carrier, see if stable. Delete "carrier services" Updates (3 dot menu when entering "settings/apps/carrier services"and restart, see if is stable. If nothing helps, reset the device, after all it is android things can go bad at updating.
Darius Lapinskas, 11 Feb 2020Don't buy HMD/Nokia devices, because you will not receive proper support from manufacturer in ... morejust reset the phone and see if it works. stop being a drama queen. not all phones are tested after leaving the factory.
Don't buy HMD/Nokia devices, because you will not receive proper support from manufacturer in case of problems with your Nokia device.
From the day one my 7.2 has a crashing network problem. Device disconnects all connectivity (GSM, including mobile data, WiFi) several times a day. WiFi and GSM icons disappear from notification area. After about a half a minute GSM icons reappear showing "No Service". Then after several seconds GSM module restores connection the network. Then WiFI and device restores usual connectivity. This can happen at any time - during call or using any application.
The HMD support has suggested saving my data and resetting the phone which is not acceptable as it took me several days to transfer data and apps from an old HTC device. HMD support did not even bother collecting any logs or debugging information to solve the problem.
The phone was purchased brand new, unsealed and has not been rooted or modified in any illegal way. Also it is being handled with care and was not dropped or exposed to moisture.
Resetting the device is not a solution, it's a simple customer support's "f*ck off" message to the customer.
So my conclusion is - HMD/Nokia devices are not reliable and their support is non existing. Don't buy Nokia devices.
Masa, 06 Feb 2020I really regret buying this phone. I reverted back to my former Nokia 8 with Android 8.1 as it... moreHMD clearly messed up on this one... The main thing which they said was about the software.. They said that their phone has optimised software for smooth performance but not in this device.. they messed up on every thing on this one whether it's specs or Software.. Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 9 have software issues that haven't been fixed by HMD.. There is lag, poor camera, poor battery life.. everything that you don't want in your purchased product.. and it's the reason why their sales went down dramatically.. It's really bad that you brought such poor device which gave negative impression of Nokia brand..
