Android 11 came in a couple of days ago. The "screen off" battery usage went from 0.8%/h before update to 4%/h after the update. Now phone does not last a day even when not used. Nokia/HMD makes junk. Never buy Nokia phones.

after the update, the camera does not work the photo function and also does not show the front camera, in general, the phone freezes often

I live in D... moreI could not find a peep out of HMD concerning the Android 11 update for the 7.2, so I ran out of patience waiting for it about a week and a half ago. I loved the phones when Nokia manufactured them directly and even when Microsoft bought them out. But the screen had two cracks in it, the touch screen wasn't working properly and I was worried that HMD was dropping the ball, so I went out and bought a Pixel 6 Pro. I hope HMD proves me wrong, but for now I have instant access to 5 years worth of updates, thanks to Google (So, see you in 5 years HMD).

Have had phone over a year. Problems regularly. Sometimes the notification menu keeps appearing then disappearing when I'm using the phone. It freezes so NO buttons work. Sometimes I can't even switch it off. Reset guided by help desk helped for a while but it's started again.

Using 7.2. Within 1 year found one color patch in it's display.
After that its Power Button not working properly. It's malfunctioning.

Here's my take - Nokia 7.2 for work. 1 year.
Every once in a while the camera poops itself and doesn't save pictures you take despite the screen flashing and animating. This especially happens if you launch the camera from the lock screen. Infuriating.
Fingerprint reader sporadically will not work.
It will not fast charge with any of my other chargers and outright denies any charge from Samsung chargers. I don't know what's going on.
Camera is very so-so.
Otherwise it's just a very cumbersome mid-tier smartphone. I don't actively dislike it but I definitely don't love it either.

Here's my take after a year of using Nokia 7.2. It's a good and dependable midrange phone for everyday use. Facebook, messaging, calling, YouTube etc. I used all these apps without any trouble. I love how minimalist the software design is, however, it had some serious hiccups. The screen kept having seizures on several occasions that at one time, it accidentally shared a Facebook post on its own (perhaps due to the outdated shipset?). But all of those stopped (kind of) when I updated all the apps. The phone is also not designed for sustained gaming. It heats up and the touch won't work after prolonged use, and it's not even a graphically demanding game. The camera generates a fairly decent picture quality (it really depends on the user) but not when you're taking pictures at night. As for the updates, well you already know how sucky their updates are. The design and build quality is topnotch! I don't know what it's made of but I'm confident that I could sit on it all day and it won't make a dent.
