I ... moreXioami has rubbished build quality issue, i guest i am at better position to comment on Xiaomi phone since i own 4 Xiaomi, plus my siblings own 2, so i have experience to call Xiaomi as rubbish quality, Xiaomi can't even get the power button to last, not forgetting the rubbish GPS antenna.
i don't mine if you claim Samsung is better than Nokia or even Huawei is better than Nokia, but Xiaomi ? thats a laughing stock....lol

I do appreciate that nokia is providing software updates.. afterall its android One.. and It is the only thing that I believe nokia had done good... I've used devices with SD 625, 636 SD670 710 etc.. And like I said I had no issues with it and it was probably 3- 2 years ago when I used Snapdragon 636, and 660.. 2 Years ago.. Lots of things change in 2 years dude.. but somethings don't change like nokia still using 636 and 660.. Now I don't know why but maybe nokia don't have enough budget, or wanted to clear its old chipset stocks or either being a lazy bum.. the have 3 SD 636 and 2 660 device so they might have to do less work in optimising and providing newer updates.. Also as per the survey around 84% of Xaiomi devices getting updated too.. See their K20 for example.. it already started to get android 10 update.. So the point is nokia is not alone at providing updates quickly. Now talking about the UI other chinese company do have bloatwares, ads etc but It doesn't change the fact that they ate still faster than nokia phones.. redmi note 7 pro is faster than nokia 8.1.. and its build quality is good too.. Considering the price of nokia 8.1 when it was launched and price of note 7 pro.. there is huge difference.. still note 7 pro outperforms Nokia's device.. why is that? now talking alone about 7.2.. why nokia is charging around 20k and don't even providing basic features like fast charging? There is a reason why these chinese brands are dominating the mobile phone market and nokia now is nowhere near top phone sellers..

A simple psychology is that if I don't like Nokia I wouldn't be writing here. Moreover, I cannot awake a person who is pretending to be asleep. Moreover, manufacturers are there not just for me but for the whole world. Their actions will not reflect upon us in any way though we might lose some money if the product is bad. Moreover, manufactures around the globe do ask for consumer feedback for their own survival and to compete effectively but definitely not to help us in any way.

Might be puredisplay under the settings is disabled so its dedicated display processor will not be utilized to its potential.

If they sell low price phones with cheap quality hardware then among you will standup to say hey my Nokia was not like before it was a premium and never ever have compromised on quality and My Nokia lost bla bla.
Wakeup bro we want features with great build quality not just specs. Chinese OEM will give you latest processor even samsung but they earn money with their bloatwares and runs many background tasks to eat more cpu usages and left similar amount of speed with Nokia's current sd660.
Nokia dont do such things and why do we require a good processor is because our mobile will remain upto date in terms of software update now nokia have already proved according to counterpoint research nearly 94% of phones are with latest android then what do you want more whats your problem bro?
My friends have sd625 that time but his phone is still with Android Oreo 8.1 and he endup with newer software and Games which not able to install because it requires latest android.
What extra features does newer processor gives you do it will give you better display? Camera? Only GPU? Or some milliseconds to few seconds of difference in performance
Are you afraid that your games will not worked later with Nokia 7.2?
Can you explain me what does Nokia 7.2 dont have apart from the processor in terms of an midrange phone?
Do you feel users having Poco F1 are the most satisfied users and now they dont need anything on their mobile?

Nokia 8.1 is with sd710 and it will be sure that it will have 730 or minimum 712 not below that and similar price with Nokia 8.1 i.e Rs. 26999.
Dont put your fingers on keyboard by resting your brain try to utilize your brain like Nokia 7.2 is utilizing its even with sd660 see the youtube comparison with samsung A50s.
If you still cant buy nokia phones buy phone from different brand.

As you have said, I shall definitely wait for 8.2, but can I anticipate a budget price like that of 7.2. As a matter of fact, I will not spend more than 20,000 INR on any mobile phone since it is useless for me. I am a person who uses the mobile for a purpose and not for recreation and killing time. Assuming, HMD releases 8.2 with a 670 processor priced at 32000 INR, it will fail again. The USP of Nokia is its Android One branding. This shouldn't become a factor for hiking the price of their devices. Two years of Android updates are really appreciable, but, there shouldn't be hidden profits involved for providing that without which they can't stand tall in the crowd. Moreover, Android updates for pure Android devices have become easier like chocolates with Google's introduction of Project Treble. All that matters is a HEART to give. Well, if you don't wish to give then don't expect us to take.

Appreciation for Nokia for making such good device.. And I brought it for 30k when it was released (The 6gb version) in feb.. It is a great device indeed no complains.. I appreciate nokia when it actually does good job but nokia 7.2 is far from that.. now I might not be a tech expert as you but letme tell you one simple thing son, 'If you don't adapt to the market then you cannot survive' Nokia doing same by releasing devices like 7.2 and 6.2 and no matter how much you blind fans will defend nokia it still cannot survive for too long if they keep on doing it.. Always remember.. I know there is not much difference In day to day performance but an old chipset is still an old chipset no matter how blindly you compare a new gen chip will always be better.. New gen chipset will laways offer better features thats why it is called 'Successor'.. also look at the pricing of 7.2.. do you really think it is justified? Now look for an example.. Samsung was selling low specs phones at high price at one time.. when they get it that they cannot survive they adapted themselves to the market and now giving good competition to Chinese brands.. as talking about nokia I think its not even in the competition now

Yes, nowadays every one buy cheap china phones, with high specs, in the name of what?they start selling at low cost, and now slowly increased rates. Having the highest specs, they say its flagship, but there is no full flagship components. I am owning Nokia 7 plus - SD 660 & nokia 9 pureview - SD845. No difference in performance except display. SD 660 is good processor, a decent spec. HMD is giving solid quality, that other device cannot give.

I had same feeling what most of agrieving people has here. But then I saw two videos of performance comparison between nokia 7.2 vs nokia 8.1 and nokia 7.2vs samsung a50s. Literally nokia 7 2 performed better than both the phone who has better specs on paper. Then i realized, if specs all are matter then vivo redimi phone suppose to be better that iPhones. But that's not the reality. So please stop cursing Nokia.
