Ravi 908763452, 15 Apr 2018Can anyone tell me about the camera quality if i compare it with 5THi!
Well I have own this phone since last couple of days and I took enough low light shots to judge the performance based on the camera specs on paper.
ItÂ’s looks coool when u see the specs on gsm arena but practically the result wonÂ’t satisfy much.
ItÂ’s acceptable but not up to mark.
For best result u have to shoot in manual mode.

However the reason people tend to compare the camera performance with that of a flagship is because the hardware is there. 1/2.5" sensor, 1.4 micron pixel size, F/1.75, Zeiss optics, this setup is so similar to what's found in Google Pixel 2, HTC U11, Samsung S7, S8.
So, even without OIS, the still image quality in low light should be theoretically on par. But none of the reviews so far has praised it for its low light stills, just giving it passable marks. That's why I suspect the firmware is missing image-stacking algorithm ala Google's HDR Plus. This feature has existed since the affordable Nexus era.
I think GSM Arena's studio test is a great tool to make such comparisons, but we've to wait for Nokia 7 Plus results to come out.
Please..can anyone tell me about the bokeh effect in nokia 7+..some reviewers say that "bokeh mode is trash in nokia 7+"
Someone please confirm about the blurr performance
Can anyone tell me about the camera quality if i compare it with 5T

Lastly lack of OIS isnt the reason behind any poor photos that might come out. OIS just hides the skills of a poor photographer, a good photographer can use any device without OIS to get good quality pictures.
It's a shame the audio doesn't have 24bit/192khz, and camera doesn't come with OIS.
I remember the golden day of Nokia 5530XpressMusic...
Anyone have idea what would be the device weight. I don't see the weight mentioned in any of the website
I just found out that India Today has also posted its review. 8/10
I feel there's a silver lining to most of the reviews so far: the main camera performance is great on its own, but not up to flagships level, with the lack of OIS being the main culprit.
However I would venture a guess that, Nokia's camera firmware does not include multiple-image-stacking algorithm found in the best flagships, to help with eliminating noise especially in lower light situations (on top of my head: Google's HDR Plus, HTC's HDR Boost, Samsung).
Can it shoot videos in 60FPS for 1080p resolution? For example with OpenCamera app...
