I am very satisfied with my Nokia 8. Updated it to Oreo from the day I bought it and it is running smoothly. No regrets whatsoever.

Performance and Battery are Beast. there's no doubt about the specs of S7 Edge...but the problems is...its too fragile at its price... its a glass phone.. I just wonder why samsung continues to manufacture glass phones... too ridiculous...sorry to say that..
I love the Nokia 8, but on Christmas day the screen became unresponsive and then started randomly opening apps without me touching the screen. I have sent it off for assessment, but just wanted to know if anyone has had any similar issues with their phone?

Note 8 which has a screen over six inch only has a battery of 3300mah. Usually mid and lower range phones have bigger batteries, like Samsung A7 (2017) with 3600mah and Lenovo P2 with 5100mah; but they compromise in other aspects. Mid and low range phone cater to people looking for larger batteries and large screens.

i don't know what is the problem with Nokia mobile company

this is the time of big screen display with big bettrey
and they are doing opposite 5.3 display and 6 gb ram with 3090 mah bettrey, what the hell
are they out of mind
every mobile phone company are focusing on display and bettrey
but nokia is different
anyway it seems Nokia will lose again
they will be no more in market if they haven't changed them selves

AnonD-727736, 01 Jan 2018Please help me. Nokia 8 or Samsung S7 Edge?Be smart and take the Samsung. I have the Nokia 8 since 2 months now and the worst purchase ever made. It is too slippery, slides away from almost surface you put it on. When updating app's it got once so hot I couldn't hold it anymore. Nokia Support adviced me to switch it of and go back to the dealer. The dealer did not have a clue what to do. Few weeks later; the phone in my car with windows slightly opened and out side temperature 34 Celsius. Glass screen spontaneously cracked due to thermal design problems! Nokia? Complete silence from their side. Yesterday it starts updating factory software; for 1 day not able to connect with whatever WiFi connection "you are connected to WiFi but there is no internet connection". All other devices worked fine on internet. It is a phone with diseases and the battery runs out too quickly for a 500 euro device. Glass screen; takes a month to replace and Nokia does not step up their plate to investigate my phone which I am willing to courier to them. You write to Nokia / HMD Global Finland and you get an empty reply from Axicom London.....who the f... is Axicom? Their advice; go back to the dealer. Additonal; hardly accessories on the market for this phone. Included head set poor quality and the paint of the metal back part scratches very quickly. I need a phone to work with and the amount of frustration this Nokia 8 has given me is not measurable. I go back to another brand most probably Huawei or Samsung.
