Oh with the 3g shutdown one heck of a lot of foreign imei phones won't work in Aus.
Now the next thing is VoNr cwth inquiry to that switch over, with the 3g shutdown you had to get 3 telco Sim cards to see what worked ( if at all in Oz )
" Buy aus stock retail phone to be sure!.
" Vodafone mocn ok but fix fringe area gaps.

Was using it on Optus, it did not like wap settings with network change to get VoLte to work had to delete those.

Now that 3G is closing down all around the world NOKIA must bring there S40 back for there key phones,i will miss my NOKIA 208 when 3g closes here in OZ.

Well I had this as my only phone for around 2 years. The build quality and feel i good.. .the rest not so. The OS is terrible. It amazingly slow and sometimes get stuck for 30+ seconds when writing a text. The word suggestions are really wrong (using swedish) an you can't remove or change a suggested word from the list. In all really buggy and slow. I try to see it as a way to use the phone less... but I mean I have my limits.

Wow lots of bad reviews for this phone. I guess this phone had a lot of expectations!. I use it as a spare phone in case my iPhone runs out power and I need a temporary means to communicate…voice calls or responding to a basic WhatsApp message. Cuz this phones battery is good. The kaios update is great.
I tried watching YouTube video and there was no lagging. Same for Facebook.

KaiOS is not maintained from Nokia, they can do only so much. Bottom line, if youre adicted to internet and your display, this phone will never help you.

But as long they cannot provide update/patches/fixes - this phone is useless and can be used only as a door stopper...
Symbian based phones , where very good , intuitive etc.
Wish I had tough 800 with such simple OS.

Bought this phone on Nokia's past reputation! Big mistake!
This is an almighty POS lump of garbage! It's slow, crappy and has none of the basic features of any other phone! If this is the garbage that Nokia produces then I hope you go broke and go out of business FAST!!!
UTTER RUBBISH... I have thrown this junk phone against the wall really hard many times hoping it would die but it survives every time much to my disappointment...
Just go by a Samsung Galaxy or Motorola and live a happy life...

N... moreBuy an old-school Symbian Nokia phone: the Nokia 101 / 301 for example.
I used mine for years and it was great for calls / sms / listening to music.
