I don't like that it comes with programs and games(bloatware) that can't easily be uninstalled. Isn't this supposed to be a serious work phone?

Question for owners: Is it possible to save music files to the internal storage via USB cable? And if so, is copying the files to the phone comparable to using a card reader or USB memory stick or is it significantly slower?
Also, is the cable used for data transfer included or do I need to buy it separately?
I want to use the phone for MP3 playback but I'll be also using it with 2 SIM cards inserted at all times so I won't be able to use a memory card.

Price only seems to be worthy for navels being Inside hardware is the same as Banana, (that means durability is the same as well + only design costs 80 more)

this phone is a huge pile of ***. It's virtually impossible to look up a name in the contacts list, contacts seem to multiply, some of them are listed 12 times or more, others not, no idea why, texting takes ages (cycling through the different entry method is so slow you usually go through them twice because you get so cranky), the list of bugs is endless: can't call back message senders from the message list, have to be redacting a text to have it listed in the menu, can't send texts from the contacts list (I get: not a valid number everytime)! and it's huge, can't believe how big and heavy it is! I certainly hope it's as tough as advertised, cause i'm really not impressed so far. Nokia you better make an update soon, cause it's expensive too!...they made better, faster phones, running maps and facebook, 8 years ago. I will say this though: the torch works, the loudspeaker is almost audible, and it's really a good way to stop your phone addiction, you'll simply want to leave it somewhere and never touch it. worked for me..

Probably you have no idea what Symbian is or you confuse symbian s60 (first smartphone system and the most advanced, even now) with the simple home grown java based system s40 (feature phone). Not even android is an alternative too symbian or close to it, the only system greater or closer would be MeeGo...

I am not sure about the OS, you say: some form of linux - but that's Android for your, and KaiOS seems best successor to Symbians so far.
Obviously, with any data connection, battery will suffer. 160grams isnt too light, so I am not sure what went wrong there.
Practicality is paramount and Nokia has a history of getting things right in UI. If i see it somewhere i will test this.

We are the people between age 29-35, dreaming of good old days with Symbian that we can do everything with good small phones, no ads, no tracking, long battery life, cool designed phones, can connect to pc or even tv. can download apps from any website, full control. Those were the days. Now genesis takes the control...

JR, 15 Jan 2020Can i sync gmail contacts directly to the phonebook ?Yes. Just go to contacts, then settings inside contacts, add google account , sync contacts. All contacts from google will be stored in the phone. I just did it. It’s simple.

is not up to nokia they have to comply if they know what is good for them, we at google need a piece of software that can run in the background and always spy on you

I use my N800 as a phone only but with the bluetooth ON permanently (it connects automatically to the car kit system). Having several normal calls during the day and no internet, the battery lasts more than a week. In fact, I recharge it every Sunday and when I plug it in it still shows around 30% battery left. Super!

I tried to import 3000 contacts through Micro SD. Succeeded to import 1000 only. Then tried google but received the same message: “limit exceeded”

Brentos, 24 Dec 2019I had a Nokia 216 with more than 600 contacts on it. I finally managed to copy all the contact... moreI copied my contacts to a micro SD. It only imports 1000 contacts and the mobile writes: “limit exceeded” . Does anyone know a solution?
