This phone is powered by Kai OS which is a curated version of Firefox OS specifically developed for smart feature phones. Don't compare apples with oranges. If WhatsApp calling feature isn't available on Kai OS it has nothing to do with Nokia or Kai OS developers.
It entirely depends on WhatsApp team to introduce or withdraw any app related features, since they are the only ones who have discretionary control over this application.
Think before you speak and think before you buy, Stop shooting blames in all directions and take the responsibility.
Kai OS phones are Smart Feature phones not smartphones.

Had this phone for three days now. The operating system was difficult to comprehend after my Nokia 3310 (2017)....however; having almost got the hang of it I can say that as a phone it is BRILLIANT ! Crystal clear conversation and good camera. HOWEVER....one of the reasons I bought it is because at age73 I was informed that I needed whatsapp....in this department it fails miserably.It's able to send pictures and videos but one cannot have a conversation. My daughter in NZ tried to call me and her phone (an I- phone) stated that my Nokia doesn't support whatsapp calls. So.....not good for whatsapp.
I was assured by the vendor that the phone would hold up to 1500 contacts....it does not !
Only 1000.....so I had to delete 301 which as it happens wasn't a bad idea as I have lost touch with Churchill and Nelson amongst others.
The phone is a robust engineering masterpiece....so at £115.00....taken in to account the above....GO FOR IT !
Whilst I am at it...currently in negotiation with NOKIA AFTERCARE over my 3310 which they state is still under warranty.....don't waste your time...THEY ARE UTTERLY USELESS !
Hopefully a class action of disgruntled owners will gee them in to action ???

I have it on pre-order, already bought the protector for the screen. I am so sad that this phone has a camera. It's 2019 no one gives a **** for a camera on this type of phones. I don't want to see such a thing on high quality phone like Nokia. I do hope that I can remove some of the applications on the menu. After all this phone will never ever going to be connected to internet so it's pointless to have app like Facebook and so on in the menu when they are pointless. I dont't understand why there is no info how long will the battery last with no internet but we have options like 4G,3G when this a type of phone which you use with no connection to internet.
I do hope that there is someone from Nokia who reeds feedback - please remove camera from phones. Place camera only on bad phones like smartphones.

But of the lack of even basic features makes this phone a let down and disappointment. A better camera and a USC c wouldn't have cost much, the price would have went up by a few or 10 dollars. That isn't much when the phone costs over 100 already. So I don't understand why Nokia didn't include them in this device. A camera is such a important feature in 2019

Ok,800 tough,8810 gb and 2720 flip are the same phone,except the form factor.....They have the same hardware,kaios and the same possibilities(hot spot,App store,contacts sync,radio,wifi,etc).......I have the 8810 from the July of 2018 and it cost 80€!!!!!I mean they are a little bit expensive.....And is 2019,so they should have a little bit upgraded,i mean more ram,stronger cpu,better cameras,those things,are very cheap now.....
