It gives ma... moreIf you use a proper 808 tv out cable should be easy to connect it to your tv (if your tv support's this connection, of course). Nokia 808 uses micro hdmi output so you will need a cable that has that at one of it's ends. Nokia CA-198 cable is the official one. The proper one. This cable has a normal hdmi end a a micro hdmi on the other end. Aslo your tv should have a hdmi slot for this to work.

Try to change the way 808 connects to your tv. Maybe your tv is to old and 808 does not support it's hardware. Change the tv system to NTSC if it's set PAL or to PAL if it's set to NTFC. Also try to activate flicker filter and see if something changes. Play with this settings and see if you get image. If not, maybe you have a faulty cable or an to old tv. As for the sound? I didn't understand the question. But if it's about that worning that you may demage your ears bla bla bla. Just ignore it and go as laud as you want. This worning was introduced in the system since the last system updates. You can not do nothing about it. Only if you use modes...
