sas, 14 May 2013how is 808's display clearity brother ?? Pls tell me im looking to buy this phone.. But worrie... moredespite the low resolution...Nokia 808 pureview has stunning screen with very vivid colors and vibrant contrast...I imagined it will be like (DOS) screen due to all the reviews on YouTube, but I shocked when I saw it the first time... it's sharp on camera pictures and movies beside it's the best all over the world to deliver amazing outdoor contrast under sunlight...great at menu viewing performance...Nokia's clear black display won't let you down...trust me

guys I'm having a nokia 5800xm now I wanna buy a new mobile my budget is 20k indian rupees. I like symbian more because of its fast internet and simple UI and good battery backup also no heating and capability to connect internet to pc via mobile. I'm no app and games hungry I just need a good camera,fast browsing and some music and a good screen thats it . Is it a good mobile to buy in this time ? Because symbian is officially dead please help I dont change mobiles too frequently if I buy a phone I will have to stick on that at least a year please suggest me ?

Normal sim will eventually fade out. As you can see high end smartphones today are now using micro-sim. It is not a problem at all i guessed for the majority! It is a concern but that is not a problem!!

I am not saying this to show off. All these mobiles use normal SIM. So I am only bothered about majorities and not only about this (808 pureview) phone.

+1 all (^_^)...and about Steve test in AAS:
He uses "Auto mode" for 808! Come on guys really who buy 808 best camera-phone ever and stick with "auto mode" for best shots?!! I love playing with Contrast,ISO,Sharpen,Saturation to make use of my pics.
So someone bring 808 41MP sensor to it's maximum capabilities and compare it to 13MP S4 "Not Only Auto Mode!" then we can fairly judge.

I think a lumia tablet will be announced today
coz pureview in WP is not possible
only SYMBIAN can handle such a monster.

All downloadable on n8 funclub just click on signed app. Hope u like it.

This is one of the few forums here along with some other under Nokia tab where there is no or very little bashing and people talk only about this phone and other peripherals around this phone only.
There is no Apple vs android bashing and users are very satisfied with what they are getting out of the hardware and OS provided by Pureview 808.
A very matured outlook displayed by users within this 808 forum.

mike, 13 May 2013why i cant send/recieve texts and calls?there are many reasons but you have to be more specific, do you have a message, an error? try and check your message centre number from messaging/settings/text message/message centres/SIM message centre, or you may have restrictions from your netwoark provider for SMS Mobile Originated/SMS Mobile Terminated(sms can be blocked similar to calls), or maybe your memory is full:)...please give more details
