808. But what I don't like nokia is they d... moreI totally agree with you. Nokia's marketing people are fandroids and are ruining Nokia. I have told these things again and again in this blog and also in other Nokia blogs, but all went in vein.
I started using Symbian from 6600 and just fell in love with it. Till then I have used a lot of Symbian sets, 6620, 6270, 3230, 3250, N70, N73, N82, N85, N90, N93i and N8 are the few of them. I was a proud user of Symbian until they introduce Belle. Till Anna they were Symbian, with Belle they became wanna-be-android. I thought of buying 808 for the camera, but didn't feel like using one phone which has no future. I'm sorry to say, Nokia, you forgot who brought you where you are, you forgot who loves you more. You left Symbian alone in the dark, whereas it was your best child. One day you will regret your decision. Android (read Samsung) would not be able to get on the top of the line if you would stay with Symbian. How can you forget about MeeGo? One-of-a-kind, total touch-based OS, no HW keys! Just think about it, how it could revolutionise the phone companies! You could have make Android and iOS pull their hair off. But no, they made you go crazy and made you kick your own b**t. Well, you'll find out soon. For me, I'm a happy owner of the last Symbian of mine (N8 & E73) & SGS2. But tell you what, I'm not the only person who got hurt with your decision. These many people's tears will make you go down the drain. If you'd just keep Symbian alive, you could have break another record breaking sell through PV808. Your loss! GTH (go to hell)... By the way, some of you will call me fandroid. For the record, I am Suhanoo, the guy you will find in N8's blog, who came up with the dialogue "keep n8-ing". Yes, I loved my N8 THAT much. But remember, this is a past tense now)

Sound quality trough AUX is simply amazing.. way better than my iPhone 5.
For the 3g bug.. you have to send your phone in. Temp fix is to disable HSPA or to use 2G/GSM ...

For those of you experiencing the 3g issue, that inludes me occasionally, instead of removing the battery each time which leads to unnecessary wear and tear just hold down the unlock slider and press the on/off button for about 10 seconds.

AnonD-65020, 19 Jan 2013friend im using molife case after doing lot of research this is one of the best to fit pv 808 ... morehey buddy tnx for the opinion, BTW how is nokia original hard cover when compared to 3rd party cases.. received my gorgeous white 808.
initial thoughts:
* amazing sound quality from both the speaker & HP especially dolby thing..
* screen lacks sharpness icons looks fuzzy, not a major gripe & 1st three level of settings in brightness mode doesnt change screen brightness.
* amazing camera especially those high iso shots in night without flash..
* all the three games are trail.
* no purple tint in screen & 3.5G bug that causes reboot. manufactured on july 2012.

http://www.n... morehi buddy, i am sorry but i don't use 3G on my mobile. I, sometimes, though use WIFI. but again if i am not using WIFI for sometime it'll disconnect automatically, all though it never hangs. but i guess this has been 'programmed' on purpose to save battery life...
btw manufacturing date for my phone is written jun 12

Please try to talk more with nokia then with the people there. Contact Nokia and tell them your Problem. I don't Know if something good is în the new models. All i know is that Nokia is aware of the Problem and i am pretty shore they will help you more then others. You can ask for a replacement also if you think you get lucky

why the hell would you buy a camera with high megapix. if you are after the camera, go buy a dslr. another thing, taking pictures/big file takes more time when uploading the pic on net except if you have fast inetrnet at home.

Any recommendation for protective case & screen guard. origin... morefriend im using molife case after doing lot of research this is one of the best to fit pv 808 this comes case with scratch gard,for rs699 after discount,its so comfortable to handle i purchased at honkong market in secunderabad,and you can buy at flipkart.com,,,,you will love more to your phone more after putting it.....

As I told you nothing changed... I check My 808 after upgrade in 113.010.1508 (Custom version-113.010.1508.C00.01).
Same issue of phone locked-up & I need to remove battery to start phone again.
Do you have any information that newly manufactured phones are OK. And not facing this problem over HSPA.
Because this time I'll claim to replace my 808 with recent mfg. one. But I know in India it will not be easy.

I'm facing exact same problem since first day... I love this phone because of camera.
Man can u tell me have u faced this issue in your phone, do u use 3G data on it.
Please check it for me, over 3g network & HSPA enabled. Use Opera, Basic Browser, Nokia Store or anything to send/receive data, use it for 15-20 min because if device is idle for long time it doesn't starts immediately. But once locked, I remove battery, start it again if I'll try do same hanged again back to back unless I didn't stop using data network or disable HSPA from "Connectivity>Admin.Settings>Mobile data>High Speed packet access".
One more thing if not then please tell me Mnfg. Date of your phone. Mine is June 2012 (color-White).
I submitted it twice to Nokia Cust. Care but they couldn't fix it.
Please help any body from India.
