just got this beauty yesterday. Sold my n8. This is ann amaizing phone with lots of features and good processing speed. And the best camera.

now nokia can't be a good competitive against Android or Apple
Symbian is a very bad -slow- OS

Carol, 13 Jan 2013Well, let's not give to much credit to that camera. It is just a point and shot camera for dai... moremostly creative mode ! Never used automatic mode ! I mostly take close ups ! I found that in close up pics 808 doesn't have enough focus so it gets blurry as you zoom the taken pics !in that case sgcamera is better ! It also have optical zoom ! I hope with magnetic macro lense 808 ll b better in macros ! Thx for visiting ;) get it from nokia store/ nokia priority dealer, u ll get a nice guide book, also download PhoTips from nokia store !

I have paid rs. 24500
for it.Good camera and sound quality.but lot of demerit like -
1.Continious af not working well.
2.Nothing new apps when compare to n8.
Same slow 3.adobe reader and old flash player version.
4.Didn't get otg cable and hdmi cable in box.
5.Symbian doesn't support wifi and bluetooth hotspot.
6.No new hd game.
7.Poor resolution screen.
8.micro sim card support only.
9.heavy compare to others.
I am also a nokia fan.but this phone does not fulfill my needs.it just a good multimedia phone.
So It's time to move to some other like samsung ,sony,apple.
Waiting for galaxy s4,sony xperia zl and apple I phone 5s.
Hope I will be happy with any of these phone.

It is just a point and shot camera for daily usage. Nothing impresive and for shore nothing professional about it. 808 has a way better sensor but laks oprics. Which are quite important for the sensor. But, as you said... It is a phone. Anyway, nice pics there:). How you use your 808 to get a pic? In custom mode or in default scense, auto mode?

i have a question I've heard many 808 have the purple display much like the n8 had has anyone had this problem? I'll be ordering one next week sometime and just want to know if theres a chance of that

Yaj, 11 Jan 2013Should I buy this phone? i love taking pictures and recording videos. My friend is suggesting ... moreiPhone is a toy, 808 is a tool. I was heavy Android and old WinMo user and I own several Android phones but very impressed with 808.
great photography
great sound output and no worse than HTC's BeatsAudio (tested and compared on Kenwood hi-fi amplifier)
clear sound of videos
changing the size of photo feature and cropping too
great preinstalled games
in-built file manager
real multitasking is able to running a lot of apps
doc viewer/editor
Symbian is a simple but hard-working
despite the small ppi good display
hundreds of practicable Symbian apps in store

In a hysterical sort of way. Even my N8 beats the crapp out of all galaxy that were and still to come. You need a more the 1 mm slim device to get a picture from that crap.
