Haris, 24 Nov 2012Hey Carol this is Haris... I'm going to reinstall my firmware today as u suggested before bcz... morei am preaty shore that your problem comes from the update. This cannot be the phone to blame. I am also preaty shore that if you rewrite the firmware, everything will come to normal. But please do let us know if you solved your problem. If not, take it bak to them. They will reinstall the software with phoenix. A more advanced tool.

thank God.. The unit i got is not giving me any problem even after getting feature pack 2.. Camera is superb and working good no issues so far. Social app is working good i'm able to use it no bugs or whatsoever.. Internet may not be fast enough but i can cope with it.. I mean it's not really an issue to me cause more often than not it loads so quickly... Battery life is fair enough or should i say impressive since it last a day and a half or two of constant use. The only thing that concerns me is the number of apps and I admit that there are certain games available in android that i want to play in this phone... But still i'm fine with it.. Wishing though that there will be a lot of hd games available in this phone soon.. XD

I'm going to reinstall my firmware today as u suggested before bcz freezing problem in increasing day by day... now it started with camera also...
Why I didn't do it before bcz I bought this phone only & only for camera I don't use this phone for apps or surfing internet...
Hope your step will help & my freezing problem will solve...
One more this if it freezes & I remove battery & start it again & try to do the same thing it freeze again at same moment as it freezed before... unless I don't leave it for 10-15min Idle after starting it...
I hope formatting & reinstalling will fix this for me....

AnonD-78201, 23 Nov 2012well i completely agree with Carol. in my office when people see my phone the first thing they... moreIs superb to be the only one different, isn't it?:) But this is the world we leave in, every time i go in some store that also has phones (but not only, i'm not like a phone freaq:)) i see kids telling to their mothers. Look at this i want it (cause all has it) guess what phone is? Samdung of course. Today i was and there were 3 girls (not all together, you get the picture), they were all looking at...? Samdung galaxy note, galaxy s, galaxy s**t or any other crapp from them, they were looking. Look, i want this one, LOOK!!! But is to big! Yes but i want it cause is pink:)). So nokia forgot how market goes... put some people behind some phones, show how bad they are, make them a good BAD publicity, take them thru some dust. Pay some high visited sites to promote yours and that's it. Nobody will look at other phones. They will be like invisible. So, here will start the sales:). Also with just an android crack from Nokia and some payed sites and samdung and all, will be forgotten. To bad that nokia has a bit of character, too bad:)

Hey guys i have nokia belle FP2 , and my social app stopped working when i pressed the exit but from the menu. when i start it, it says 'unable to connect' or to start (its in Portuguese, dont really know the correct translation). I have alredy deleted and reseted my phone and reinstaled my network app, but same problem every time i exit. Anyone knows how to fix it?

in iPhone it is so easy only download hotspot but in Nokia Symbian is so hard for me to setup

Carol, 23 Nov 2012Sory buddy, but he is kind of right. 808 was never promoted and when is not promoted, people d... morewell i completely agree with Carol. in my office when people see my phone the first thing they ask if it's windows. till now i didn't find even a single person who knows the name of this phone correctly (i am dead serious, not at all blowing out of proportion or exaggerating, it real deal !!). seriously this is what lack of marketing can do. all they know is samsung & samsung or android, nothing else.
when i tell them that it's symbian, however, few who know about it do mock me, but i pity their ignorance! Funny part is when i take a picture and show them what my phone is capable of doing, they stand dumbstruck, just couldn't believe their eyes.
however, there's one thing i would like to add though. if for some reason you are not able to take good image by jus 'point' and 'shoot' try to play around with the 'various' option provided. they really help. for eg. while taking close pic, long press on the screen and select close up. likewise there are 'n' numbers of parameters to play with. i am really impressed with the camera interface. it has something for everyone.
can anyone please help me understand the various camera features in detail, what setting to be used when and what different parameters do??

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2012Read Nokias white paper about the 808 sensor and you see,not possible to shoot 41MP photos Its... moreBuddy, just download the app from nokia store for free and give it a shot. i have tried and it actually works. i checked the resolution of the captured image. it's 7728x5368 which comes out to be 41.48 MP (approx 41.5 MP) as quoted by Mustafa Al-Azzawy. it's not round either.

Dinning joined Nokia in April 2004 and brought Nokia many years of experience in cameras and photography that included key roles at Minolta UK and Eastman Kodak.
In a statement released to AP, Nokia UK said: ‘Following the relocation of key strategic roles to Finland, and with great reluctance, Damian Dinning has made a personal decision to leave the company effective 30 November 2012.’ AP understands that Dinning’s decision to leave came as a blow to bosses.
Dinning was lead program manager for Imaging Experience at Nokia. He was the reponsible man for the revolutionary Nokia 808 PureView with the amazing possibilities of the 41MP sensor.

Where i leave there is no808 in any store but one, and that came like only a month ago. No carrier has it. You can see only samdung everywhere and icrap. This means promoting. What people eyes see everyday is what people buy. A good form of manipulating, a good market strategy. You know, like you see apple in every movie know. What you think is that? A innocent appearence?:))
