-he wants huge amount of free apps ...
-A good muiltitasking performance..
-he wants his own solid user interface..
-he want an acess to the core of processor nd RAM..
-he wants to be the latest os user by not replacing d phone but only by upgrading it.
-He wants to use RAM & processor by his own choice to save battery life for better performance.
-All in all he wants an open source.

Hey guys, i have nokia N8 and want to buy 808pv. I connected my N8 to a wi-fi network. I could do web browsing and watching online youtube videos. But i could not able to download videos from Fast tube or youtube dowloader app. But my friend's sony ericsson xperia mini pro doest it all. What to do? Do this problem will persist in nokia 808 also. Please reply and thanks in advance.

How come you think you are so smart to tell to people that own this phone, it is not good for them? Even tough you have no idea what this device can do! Do you know what a user review is? Here should post people that use this device or had a more then 10 seconds experience with it. Not smartidiots, verstehst du? All you do here is making a fool out of your self, and all you can show us is that you are full of envy cause people here don't like your crappy recommendations. You talk about lack of information? :))) Yes, technology is growing, and this phone here it is the proof of that, and not a quad-core crap. You think that we don't know there are phones that have dual-quad-freaq-sh*t-cores? Do we look like we're interested of that? Maybe you have the dumb idea that a mobile os is more important then the device it self, coming here to give us your experience-less comments, not knowing what technology is. Wake up boy! If you we're a real gadget lover and an expert you would love this device for what can do and not hate it for the system (which, we all love). You're boring, and s_u_i_d. It is Just a laymen predictions
By second half of 2013 Nokia smartphone and tablet might started seeing daylight again through the strong software backing Window OS platform.
Nokia might slowly regain some lost glory of the past ( but full recovery would never become possible in this liberal era).
Nokia 808 family (platform) will only be remain a history by 2015 or even earlier.

sad though, that someone is too envous of this device that he/she puts all his/her time posting here trying to convince people how bad this phone is, this must be a really really good phone because someone is putting all his time and effort into posting negative things about this phone rather than being productive

meltemi was promising for feature phones..... but then again nokia drop it...... stupid move.... now asha type os looks cool.... but nokia coupled it with resistive screen with very10x low ram, rom, and internal storage..
they should atleast level their hardware to chinese android device...

256ram
512rom
are the standard hardware of chinese android devices priced at 4.5k pesos to 6k pesos...
why cant nokia copy the same hardware specs...
instead they use far lower specs. at the same price....

Then compare 808 hardware with android smartphones, it's clear that 808 use lower spec than any high end and mid end droids, but it still capable to achieve good performance. I'm never had a crush problem with this phone.. It works well...
