AnonD-38204, 24 Aug 2012if u dont like others opinion then wts wrong wid u just be quiet.....stop reading ur opinion... moreAnd let us guess. You are the one expert to open peoples minds? A kid that has no idea of how symbian works, feels and behaves, and how this device looks like, besides on photos and reviews. How come you think you are so smart to tell to people that own this phone, it is not good for them? Even tough you have no idea what this device can do! Do you know what a user review is? Here should post people that use this device or had a more then 10 seconds experience with it. Not smartidiots, verstehst du? All you do here is making a fool out of your self, and all you can show us is that you are full of envy cause people here don't like your crappy recommendations. You talk about lack of information? :))) Yes, technology is growing, and this phone here it is the proof of that, and not a quad-core crap. You think that we don't know there are phones that have dual-quad-freaq-sh*t-cores? Do we look like we're interested of that? Maybe you have the dumb idea that a mobile os is more important then the device it self, coming here to give us your experience-less comments, not knowing what technology is. Wake up boy! If you we're a real gadget lover and an expert you would love this device for what can do and not hate it for the system (which, we all love). You're boring, and s_u_i_d. So please stop spamming nokia forums with your pointless comments;).

It is Just a laymen predictions
By second half of 2013 Nokia smartphone and tablet might started seeing daylight again through the strong software backing Window OS platform.
Nokia might slowly regain some lost glory of the past ( but full recovery would never become possible in this liberal era).
Nokia 808 family (platform) will only be remain a history by 2015 or even earlier.
      Thanks to HOD
Sir Elop has done "the right thing at the right time in the right direction" to save Nokia frm extinction from this planet.

For every great thing, there must be someone who tries very hard to put it down

sad though, that someone is too envous of this device that he/she puts all his/her time posting here trying to convince people how bad this phone is, this must be a really really good phone because someone is putting all his time and effort into posting negative things about this phone rather than being productive

          BOOM!

meltemi was promising for feature phones..... but then again nokia drop it...... stupid move.... now asha type os looks cool.... but nokia coupled it with resistive screen with very10x low ram, rom, and internal storage..

they should atleast level their hardware to chinese android device...

            the same
            1 ghz processor with
            256ram
            512rom

are the standard hardware of chinese android devices priced at 4.5k pesos to 6k pesos...

why cant nokia copy the same hardware specs...

instead they use far lower specs. at the same price....

AnonD-38204, 24 Aug 2012these sort of devices cant recover nokia market once again..........its nearly late....... moreU said that nOkia should develop OS with lower ram and processor right? Then compare 808 hardware with android smartphones, it's clear that 808 use lower spec than any high end and mid end droids, but it still capable to achieve good performance. I'm never had a crush problem with this phone.. It works well...

                            hmm...

symbian actualy has alot of apps in the ovi store

not to mention everyday I check, theres still new apps being made for it, it seems...

it is below ios and android sure...but at the moment

it still has more apps than bada, meego, blackberry and even windows

thats not so bad now is it?

i had the phone for 3 days, i admit i bought it only for the camera. i want a phone, i want a camera. that's it. as a camera, a phone and a video recorder: i don't have any complaints regarding the 808, for now. the OS could have been better but i have a galaxy tab and having twice the processor never made it faster than the 808. given the same amount of files, the 808 speed never wavered. part of the galaxy tab lag maybe was because of all the apps i installed. some apps are malicious and could slow down or prevent your phone from functioning properly. so i figured, the most dependable phone would be the simplest. too much apps already killing my time and productivity. do i have more time to waste? i even have a ipod touch for apple apps! i don't get enough sleep as it is. make life simple. choose what you want and never care what other people say. they wont give you money to buy what you want. correct?

these sort of devices cant recover nokia market once again..........its nearly late............
TO compete wid android NOKIA has lot to improve....
NOW talking abt myself i once was a fan of S60...coz except these ther were only java platform mobile....now the time is changed....but nokia sticks on same .......... instead of increasing processing speed, memory for multitasking it only increases internal storage for eg...95,97etc....

NOW the main reason tht user kicks out NOKIA is bcoz of low performance of its old OS.......update to some apps is only available...not the OS....... i also got N97 buts its weird...slow phone.....but huge unwanted storage capacity....32gb..BUT its not very late....it can recover its lost market. for this NOKIA should give upgrade to old phones.... NOKIA should develop GOOD OS capable to run on low speed processor nd low RAM...And it should give user chances to modify widgets nd interface....... Once the old user gets chance to upgrade their outdated OS M sure the faith will grow once again.....nd the belief of NOKIA will grow....nd sure people will start to use NOKIA smartphone....Nokia has got many high performance smartphone enough to compete with droid nd ios... but doesnt got user trust thts why its going down...... SO the drawbacks is not symbian OS its the lack of trust...
