Anonymous, 19 Jun 2015Nokia 808 will get Windows 10 update?OK. Here's the deal. The Nokia 808 is running on Symbian Operating System. NOT on Windows, or Windows Phone to be exact. It WON'T BE GETTING the Windows 10 update because it isn't a Windows device. As simple as that.

FZBJG, 18 May 2015Hello all.. i really need help with my 808.. my 808 keep on restarting itself altought i alrea... morefor restarting problem, if your 808 is from early batch(initial phones when it was released ) &if u use 3.5g. Then try this solution go to setting -connectivity -admin - mobile data- high speed packet access. Then disabl this setting ( this setting appears only if u on 3g network ) it will reduce ur 3g speed but restarting will be gone

I have just tried out this and the resuling images are really pleasing .. But since this phone has a wide angle lens, portrait imeags are not in proper shape sometimes while clicking(specially the persons in the corners of the images).. Any suggestions on this??

Guys I am sharing my settings for achieving the best quality photos! I have experimented a lot and I find these settings to be the best!
For 8MP Images (I have set this to C1)
In Creative mode set:
Sensor Mode: Pureview
Resolution: 8MP
Aspect ratio: 4:3
JPEG quality: Superfine
Colour tones: Vivid
Capture mode : Normal
Saturation: 0
Contrast: 0
Sharpness: +4
Flash: Red Eye Reduction
Exposure: Auto
Colour Balance: Auto
ISO: Auto
ND Filter: Auto
For 38MP Images (I have set this to C2)
In Creative mode set:
Sensor Mode: Full resolution
Aspect ratio: 4:3
JPEG quality: Superfine
Colour tones: Vivid
Capture mode : Normal
Saturation: 0
Contrast: 0
Sharpness: +5
Flash: Red Eye Reduction
Exposure: Auto
Colour Balance: Auto
ISO: Auto
ND Filter: Auto
Hope this helps! These settings work in all conditions, rarely do I feel the need to change something. The OOC (straight out of camera) images are very pleasing with these settings (can easily beat the artificial details, oversharpened mess the new phones put out) and do not require any additional post processing.
