Anonymous, 03 Aug 2012you are wrong.pure view is not the last symbian device cuz they will laucnh symbian carla and ... moredude , 808 is the last , no high end symbian device again, i am mentioning the device not the coming symbian updates, also symbian is getting one last update which is the Belle fp2 after that nothing
so be aware of what u want in a device, camera pictures videos sound = 808pureview Apps games surfing = iphone or any high end android
for me am happy with the 808 i love phtography also i can do twitter via tweetian facebook via facinate and email is perfect too some video calls over 3g and wifi via fring messaging via whatsapp so thats i use thats why i got 808

The screen is rly good, no purple tint problem, i chekd a white 808 to and it also dint hv it, ppl hv reportd d prob but its vry less. I got mine clean n i love it

[deleted post]Owning this phone doesn't automagically make you any better photographer. Neither does owning any other phone. Nor any other DSLR. It helps to have good equipment, but the hard work is on the one holding the camera. Props to Sea Breeze! :-)

[deleted post]You can buy a high end DSLR worth $2,000 USD and yet still take bad photo stills. It takes a good eye and a good hand to take good photos.
At least he got 38-34MP worth of bad photos, much more than 12MP worth of bad photos. :-)

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2012Is there any purple tint issue on nokia 808 pureview like nokia N8?please anyone reply. yes there is a purpe tint in some of the new nokia 808pureview screen display, but Nokia have admitted it and said that the software update for it will come soon. So we are waiting for it. I will advice u to check it at d retail store before buying it.

Presently iam using samsung galexy s2 , the main problem in this phone dislay clarity not good ( green colour much more ) iam looking every pictures and videos the green colour is over, and iam checked all amoled led samsung phones all phones showinl like this why this happend for all samsung phones,,
My friend purchesed new 808 its display clarity is amazing all colours equals...its amazing...camera better, sound better, battery back up better ,perfomance better... i like this phone 808.... Nokia is better than Samsung...

With camera specs of this phone and the variety of media formats in the n900, if nokia really wanted they could bring out great android phone, if they combined the camera specs and the media variety of the 2 phones, implement the ice cream sandwich os, with a high resolution screen, with atleast 1gb ram and rom, and a dual to quadcore and possibly gorilla glass

i got my nokia 808 yest, i love it,no purple tint problem, all works good.. Love the camera, the display is good, bettr thn n8, the colors and contrast is perfect, screen is rly good.. Iws impressd

I've seen the phone. the camera is superb. there is no doubt about that. full on multimedia phone. my only concern is about screen resolution. it is very bad.
